80ft Art Project, complete with @brookscollegeprep , come to the ribbon cutting this Thursday! 🦅

Busy is an understatement, but these are the moments that make it worth being the change in the world you want to see.

Legacy, rooted in selflessness. I graduated from Brooks College Prep 10 years ago and now the current students get to leave a mark for years to come.

Over the past year the students at Brooks have been painting an 80ft art installation that will go on the exterior of the school’s fence. Wooden letters representing the voice of the students and community. Their voice, their art, I just facilitated with help from @contextoschi + @bc_chicago_carpenters + @cookcodefender

This Thursday 4PM-6PM you get to celebrate it with them at their school. (Swipe to the last slide) Food, music, and community. 🦅

It’s Giving Tuesday, and we’re reaching out with urgency and hope.

At NEW Gallery, our mission has always been clear: to make art accessible to everyone. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by artists, we’ve opened doors for emerging creators, offered affordable classes to learners of all ages, and built a welcoming community where art is truly for all.

But today, we are at a critical crossroads.

Without immediate funding, we may be forced to close our doors at Art City — a space that has become a home for local artists, an incubator for creativity, and a hub for exhibitions, classes, and community connection. Losing this space would mean losing vital opportunities for the artists and families who rely on it.

Your support right now can make the difference.

Every donation helps us:
• Keep art classes affordable and accessible
• Continue offering exhibition opportunities to local and emerging artists
• Preserve the inclusive, creative community that Art City has become

This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your help to keep this vision alive.

If NEW Gallery has inspired you, supported you, or strengthened your community, we invite you to give what you can.

Support accessible art. Support artists. Support community.

Donate to our GoFundMe via the link in bio. Thank you @chicagofineartsalon @artcitychicago @joesikoraart @chicagofineartdrawing
