What a special way to spend my birthday on Sunday with my daughter - at Willoughby Theatre Company’s Beauty and the Beast 💛💙

What an absolutely spectacular show! The sets are incredibly opulent, the sheer number of scene changes is astounding, and the costumes… simply divine. And of course, the acting, singing and dancing are first class – as we’ve come to expect from this extraordinary local company.

This is exactly why I’m so passionate about supporting local arts in Chatswood – truly the cultural heart of the North Shore. Productions like this showcase the depth of talent in our community and bring so much joy to audiences of all ages.

If you haven’t got your tickets yet, don’t wait – they’re selling fast and there are only a few sessions left this week.

Don’t miss it ✨

Last night was such a special Valentine’s treat 💕

I’ve been following the incredible Charlie Chech for a number of years now, ever since I first saw him perform at a local Armenian community event. Even then, it was clear he was something special - a formidable young man with an extraordinary voice.

One of Charlie’s super fans, Jan, writes to me often encouraging me to come along to his shows… and I’m so glad I finally couldn’t resist!

We enjoyed a lovely double date - Mark and I, alongside our daughter and her partner - making the most of a night out at Chatswood’s wonderful newest venue, The Lounge. It was also so lovely to catch up with Jan in person too.

Charlie was absolutely sensational, backed by an all-star jazz band, bringing to life the timeless classics of Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Michael Bublé and more. At just 21, his talent and stage presence are already world-class.

And to top off the night, we finished with some delicious late-night Korean food at local favourite Joomak - the perfect Chatswood ending 🌙🥢

So proud to see incredible young performers like Charlie lighting up our local stages right here in Willoughby ✨🎤
