Back in February, I was shocked

Two hosts didn't put my last name

on the Unsigned Spotlight Show

I was malicious and so selfish about my name

I did told them to "put some respect on my name"

And then, I'm finally apologized

So, I had to do what I do

I'm finally took the fault, the blame, and the shame

I did chastised these two

I did a mistake

But prayer change my life

My lowest point in my life was contagious

I have been sinned against the two hosts of

the Unsigned Spotlight Show

I'll always tried to be a man I am today

A true Christian man, also an Baptist

I took a leap of faith

My faith will be stronger

That is why I learn to forgive

But I learned

I thank God for granted me another

chance.

2025 was the year I found her again.
The year my smile came back brighter than ever.
The year my pain went from an average 7-8/10… to zero.

It was the year I paid off my debt and learned how to save again.
The year I fell in love with the love of my life.
The year I made more music than I ever have before.

2025 was the year of balance.
Of working hard and trusting my body again to show up with energy, focus, and strength.
The year I felt beautiful.
The year I remembered what I was put on this earth to do: make music.

It was the year I found my person, and a village that turned Nashville from a stop on the map into a place I can truly call home.

This year while holding a full time job—
I shot 8 weddings.
Released my first self-produced song.
Moved in with Max.
Played magical shows with MisterMoon.
Recorded my very first album (coming this year).

And somehow, immediately after wrapping that album, Max and I received funding to record another one… so County Fair was born.

So many big dreams came to a head in 2025.
And somehow, through it all, it was the most peaceful year I’ve ever known.

I’ll never take for granted seasons of joy and peace.
I’m deeply grateful to have found myself in one. 🤍

Dear colleagues and music enthusiasts, I am pleased to declare that I have chosen to modify my honorific name, which has been associated with my musical pursuits for almost ten years. Initially, I was recognized as the Southern Prince of the Blues, the title under which I penned my first song and received radio play. Later, I came to be known as the Southern Underdog of the Blues, a name given by Doug Russ, symbolizing the challenges and obstacles I overcame while attaining recognition, radio airplay, and online virality. Starting 2026, my new honorific title will be THE SOUTHERN SIRE OF THE BLUES.

Normally when Jim Cantore is spotted in your town, it’s cause for concern.
But not today. It was all smiles at Pizza Palooza at The Hangout at Broadway at the Beach. 🍕☀️
A perfect way to celebrate a hurricane-free season with Ed Piotrowski and Jim Cantore. #thatswhatedsaid

Some friendships are like this…
We may not see each other often, but the moment we’re back together, it feels like no time passed at all. 💛
We spent our Friday night right here in Little River, SC — catching up over old fashioneds made with the most exquisite Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Bicentennial Whiskey (1776–1976 🥃).
Laughing, reminiscing, and soaking in the kind of moments you wish you could bottle up forever.
Nights like these remind me how important it is to slow down, enjoy good company, and be truly present for the moments that matter.
