Introducing Salt & Silk.

We love beautiful hair and makeup. We care just as much about how you feel wearing it.

Loving what you see in the mirror. Feeling heard. Knowing you’re in good hands.

That’s what we want for every bride who sits in our chair.

La ceremonia es una de las partes más significativas de cualquier boda. Pero celebrarla frente al mar en Hawái hizo que esta fuera realmente diferente. El paisaje de la isla y el entorno crearon un momento único.

A wedding ceremony is one of the most meaningful parts of any wedding. But celebrating it by the ocean in Hawaii made this one truly different. The island’s landscape and surroundings created a unique moment.

**the aisle before anyone has walked it**

Empty chairs.

Perfect florals.

The ocean in the distance.

A few minutes of complete stillness before the entire space fills with people.

If you're planning a Hawaii destination wedding, remember to schedule time for your photo and content teams to capture the ceremony space **before guests arrive.**

Once everyone is seated, you can't recreate that untouched moment.

And if you've spent months designing the ceremony, you deserve to have footage of it exactly as you envisioned it.

Then comes the fun part:

watching your beautiful, perfectly arranged aisle become the place where your actual wedding happens.

**put a donkey at your wedding and this is what happens 🫏😂**

A photographer is shooting for the album.
I am shooting for the way the day **felt in real time.**

At this Hawaii wedding, cocktail hour basically turned into a miniature donkey meet-and-greet. 😂

Nobody went near the bar for a solid 20 minutes because guests were too busy petting them, taking photos, and showing their friends.

And THIS is why I love wedding content creation.

Your photographer is capturing the beautiful, intentional moments. I’m there for everything happening around them.

The hugs between photos.
Your friends losing it on the dance floor.
Your parents reacting to something hilarious.
The behind-the-scenes chaos.
The tiny moments you didn't even realize were happening.

**Planning a Hawaii destination wedding? Save this for your planning doc:**

✨ Leave breathing room in your timeline.
✨ Don't over-schedule cocktail hour.
✨ Give guests something memorable to experience.
✨ Let the day unfold instead of trying to control every minute.

Because sometimes the moments you'll treasure most are the ones nobody planned.

As a **Hawaii wedding content creator**, I document your wedding day in real time so you can relive the energy, reactions, details, and in-between moments that don't always make it into the wedding album.

If you're planning a **Big Island wedding, Kona wedding, Kukio wedding, Maui wedding, Oahu wedding, or destination wedding in Hawaii**, this is your reminder:

**Plan the beautiful moments. Leave room for the unexpected ones.** 🤍

Happy birthday to the best dad! ❤️
Thank you for always being there, cheering me on, loving me through every season of life, and making so many of my favorite memories even more special. From pageants to my wedding day and everything in between, I’m so grateful to have you by my side. So lucky to be your daughter. Love you, Dad! 🎂❤️

We might not have practiced a lot after our dance lessons, but this was one of my favorite memories from wedding day 💕

No ruining the makeup. @indigograceartistry made my makeup & hair PERFECT and we can’t ruin that!! (Thank goodness for waterproof mascara and Grace being amazing for insanely airbrushed touchups!!)

Even though dancing isn’t your forte…. We do love to laugh!!

One of my favorite pics of the day 🫶🏼

Apparently we cry simultaneously as much as we laugh together too!

& no matter what, I’ll always be your little girl.

I may have gotten my dancing skills from you, but we sure had a great time at the dance lessons & during the reception!

This was one of my favorite moments during the day— I loved getting to surprise you with a handkerchief because you always have one (or several) at the ready when someone needs one.

(This was his 3rd of the week and one of my favorite gifts to give since he always has these on hand for everyone needing to dry their eyes)

Thank you for also making sure I didn’t ruin my mascara!! You made wedding week full of giggles and more.

And we did a pretty darn good job getting down the aisle. Even though we were yapping and almost missed our cue!!

Thank you for walking me down the aisle TWICE — from the pageant stage til now?? (Always married to the pag— right @allisondemarcus ???)

You are the best cheerleader ever. Thank you for being in my corner for the biggest days of my life and everything in between. I love you so much!
