A poem about PRESSURE and Family expectation !

Wrote by me

🎥 : @blitzapparat

Poem exhibition This FRIDAY at @k.eins.berlin „BETWEEN MOMENTS”

English sub :

Pressure on my shoulders, ‘cause Mama says I’m the son of a deceased king, I’m supposed to keep running for my ancestors, move forward, so my descendants don’t have to follow in my footsteps.

Cause I’m just a human with flaws, my poems have flawed language

my eyes can’t be trusted, ‘cause my gaze is selfish, my voice don’t give it too much weight, ‘cause something’s off with it, I don’t learn from it, pls repeat yourself ’cause my ears hear what they want, not what they should

please, everyone, follow me, ‘cause I’m lost. I enjoy my freedom in a house built out of plywood and ask myself, are my thoughts free if they’re locked inside my head? But I let go, I don’t overthink it, ‘cause to live present, you have to be — thoughtless. So I leave the writing to my ballpoint pen, and when the ink runs out, does that mean I’ve cried myself empty? And if I’ve cried myself empty, does that mean I’ve got drip? And if I’ve got drip, does that mean my soul is fixed?
