A happy, rainy Easter in the Village.

“Hello, World.”

A new photo of Earth 🌎 📰,
a redesigned New York Times Magazine,
lots of new deliveries,
a pistachio cookie from next door,
and plenty of regulars who came through.

Not a bad Sunday.

Open until 8:30pm.

Dream About Nothing

BOOK LAUNCH AND SIGNING
Thursday, December 7th, 6-8pm

Tomorrow night, join us for the release of @blobbybloherty's DREAM ABOUT NOTHING published by @jointsloose!

The book, Dougherty's second, pushes his visual language to the point of incomprehension, questioning what we consider mundane and what we view as special and asks a more significant, even transcendent question in the process: "Why anything at all?"

With photographs that take a step back from the image-overload language which much of contemporary still-life and observational photography lends itself to, Doherty's image-rhymes lead one into a place where categories break down and conventional meanings grow distorted, forcing a reinterpretation of the mundane.

A day at the printers with @blobbybloherty for his charming second book, DREAM ABOUT NOTHING, out very soon and with a soft launch at @parisphotofair in two weeks!

We carefully conceived DREAM ABOUT NOTHING with Bobby over the past year, rhyming his images into a place where their categories break down, meanings are stretched, and his precise visual language leaps from the page.

Today's your last chance to pre-order a SIGNED copy and get 10% off! ✨Head to loosejoints.biz before it's too late. Offer ends at midnight 🕛 #bobbydoherty #loosejoints
