🔷 THE HOOK 🔹 JASPER BLOM / SAMUEL KIEL / LUDVIG SØNDERGAARD 🔹 08/10▫️20:00 🔷

◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️

Jasper Blom, Samuel Kiel, and Ludvig Søndergaard have come together in a new improvised trio with a mission. Through free and abstract improvisations, with a minimum of boundaries and a maximum of freedom, they search for the “hook” as they play.

The ‘hook’ is a concept from pop music: that one super-catchy little melody or groove that stays stuck in your head all day, and which has usually been tweaked for months in the studio. The Hook—the improv trio featuring Jasper Blom, Samuel Kiel, and Ludvig Søndergaard - takes the stage with zero agenda and a single mission: finding the ‘hook’ amidst free and abstract improvisations.

• Jasper Blom – tenor saxophone, effects
• Samuel Kiel – double bass
• Ludvig Søndergaard – drums
