September was a lot.

some big things ended and I said goodbye when I never thought I would, but there were a lot of new beginnings too. I met a bunch of my work homies in person for the first time and bonded way more than I expected. I cried from laughing & also from pain, sometimes in the same day lol. somehow I’m doing fine, some days even thrivin’. just don’t ask me how, I’m still figuring that out.

Nostalgic, not sad. October, be nice. 🫶🏽

some days i’m thriving, some days i’m survivin’. today i’m just LSIDC.

[p.s. for the record im not crying because of them but also don’t text me about the arsenal match 🙄]

[[p.p.s. ‘cause you know, i don’t do sadness. not even a little bit, just don’t need it in my life. don’t want any part of it… hey, ive done my time, lookin’ back on it all. 🎶 ]]

okay, okayyyy, this is the last recap from the past 3 weeks. probably. maybe. idk, we’ll see. 🫶🏽🫰🏽

somewhere along the way heart hands became my thing. i don’t even know why i started it & yes, it’s a little cheesy. maybe even a little dumb (trust me, i’ve been told that). but to me it’s just a tiny way to put out some good vibes, connect with peeps, be a little silly, opportunity for lively debate (which heart hand is your go-to) & hopefully put a little more good into the world.

so yea, i’m gonna keep asking everyone to do them. i mean, at this point people have started saying to me unprompted, “so, when are we doing our heart hand pic?” 🙂‍↕️✌🏽

p.s. if you’ve already seen some of these on close friends… no you haven’t.

p.p.s., I highly recommend taking Live Photos and then turning them into short videos. also, enjoy the lovely commentary

it wasn’t all work… balance or whatever. 🫡

don’t befriend your coworkers. don’t hang out with your coworkers. definitely don’t do heart hands or bond with coworkers you’ve only ever seen in a tiny Teams box.

blah blah blah. don’t tell me what to do. 🙂‍↔️

part 1… obvi.

my boss is cooler than yours because she listens to a tribe called quest, likes exactly 1-2 songs off joe jonas’ latest album (i’ll take it), gives pretty solid dating advice while simultaneously judging my type a lil (fair), has decent gif game (homer backing into bushes), goes to soccer matches with me, stopped giving me the thumbs up & reminds me i’m worth it when my brain tries to tell me otherwise. 🥹🫶🏽

ps. yes, we are choosing to ignore that she’s a sp*rs supporter today because they lost horrifically. but for the record, arsenal won their match, so. i mean, the fact that we’re still friends despite loving rival teams? a modern miracle ⚽️

pps. when i move to florida, it be great if orlando city also bought poprocks. ill start manifesting now.

florida trip going exactly as expected: getting ish done, heart hands, espresso martinis & work besties who unfortunately know me to my core.

(also apparently i drink enough diet coke that requires regular updates to Will 🤝🏽)

No amount of words can express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to meet these amazing bunch of people in person for the first time after seeing their faces a million times on screen!!

We connected US - UK - Paris - Singpaore all in 1 trip.

Though this trip made me time travel, go through many firsts like being without my boys and have really bad jetlag and even ending motion sickness LOL

I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you everyone for the great adventure and memories!

they say don’t become actual friends with people you work with…

meanwhile my team is out here creating lore, wheeze-laughing until it literally physically hurts, AND still getting our sh*t done. 🤍
