WHAT A TEAM! ❤️💙

A huge thank you to everyone who pulled on the red and blue and took on @city2surf for Duchenne Australia this weekend!

Together, our incredible team raised over $4,300 for Duchenne Australia! An amazing effort that will help us continue supporting families, advocating for better care and driving change for our Duchenne community.

Seeing all those red and blue shirts and hats out on the course was such a proud moment. Every kilometre walked or run, every donation shared and every conversation started helps put Duchenne in front of more people.

To everyone who ran, walked, donated, cheered and supported us along the way - THANK YOU. We are so incredibly grateful to have you on our team. ❤️💙

And a special shout-out to those legs that are still recovering… 😂

💔 IS THIS REALLY JUSTICE?

Six months ago, Clare Austin’s life was taken — and today, the man once called her boyfriend has finally been arrested.

In April, Clare became the 19th woman in Australia to be murdered this year.
Now, the number stands at 58. That’s almost 40 more women murdered in just over 6 months.
What. The. Fuck.

Fifty-eight women gone. Fifty-eight families shattered.

And still, we ask — is this really justice?
When the law moves too slowly,
when women are silenced long before the courts ever speak, when protection only comes after death —
is that justice at all?

The day Clare died was a catastrophic, life-changing moment. It woke something in me that will never go back to sleep.

Since that day, I’ve left my house, job, gym, car and so much in the past to start - The Remarkables United - an organisation dedicated to supporting victims of abuse and trauma sufferers. I vow to dedicate my life to helping fellow survivors of abuse break their chains, heal, and rebuild.

We will not stop until women, children - and all who have been abused — are safe.
Until justice is not delayed, distorted, or denied.
Until it truly protects.

Because Clare’s story deserves more than headlines.
It deserves change.

All our love Claire xoxoxoxo

Every 10 Minutes, A ♀️Life is Lost💔

In what world should anyone live in fear for their safety? The word "abuse" often leaves us shuddering, making it hard to talk about and even harder to recognise in ourselves—until it's so far gone it bears its scars.

Claire Austin, a vibrant and strong young woman, was someone I had the honor of knowing. Her tragic death in April 2025, while trying to escape an alleged domestic violence incident, shook me to my core. Claire's story is a stark reminder of the urgency to address and prevent domestic violence. Claire is 1 of 24 women and 7 children who have died in 2025 as a result of violence in Australia (so far).

In November 2024, United Nations Women reported that 1 woman or girl is killed every 10 minutes by their intimate partner or family member. IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS 'OKAY?'

Claire's passing caused me to pause and reflect on my own journey. It was the turning point in my life when I said, "Enough is enough," and decided that silence was no longer an option.

Belief is the first step toward change. Belief that we deserve safety. Belief that healing is possible. Belief that we can break the cycle.

Intergenerational abuse isn't just a pattern; it's a legacy we have the power to end. By acknowledging the pain, seeking support, and choosing a different path, we can break the chain for ourselves and for those who come after us.

Australia's National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022–2032 aims to end gender-based violence in one generation. This vision starts with each of us taking a stand, having the tough conversations, and supporting one another.

What can you do?

Educate Yourself: Understand the signs of domestic violence and the resources available.

Speak Out: Use your voice to advocate for victims and survivors.

Support Organisations: Contribute to groups working tirelessly to combat domestic violence.

Every action, no matter how small, contributes to a safer and more compassionate world. Let's be the generation that says, "It ends with us."

It was truly humbling to stand beside so many incredible humans this weekend — women, men, children, and babies — at rallies across Australia. In powerful unity, we filled the streets calling for an end to violence against women, led with strength and purpose by the incredible team at @whatwereyouwearing_ 🫶

Thousands of the counties bravest voices stood tall, sharing their scars and stories, demanding change and justice - myself included. In what world is abuse ever acceptable? There is NO excuse. We must #makeachangeworld🌎

There’s no magic fix, but we can start by believing survivors, supporting their courage, and raising their voices. Today, I challenge you: think of someone you know who’s been impacted by abuse — physical, emotional, digital, or otherwise. Reach out. Check in. Remind them they’re seen, heard, and loved.

Be a friend. Lend a hand. Share the love 🧡🫶🕊️
