What first called you to cacao?
Social trends, consumerist society, and disconnection from Earth and cultural heritage have led to a global ceremonial movement who show a face of community, yet hide behind a mask of extraction and colonisation….

I don’t believe the world needs more people serving cacao.

I believe it needs more people who know how to be in relationship with the Earth, with ancestral wisdom, and with the plants that sustain us.

That’s why I created Roots&Rituals: Cacao Kinship Cohort. Not as a way to create more consumption around cacao but as a way to honour, respect, and embody a kinship worldview that truly honours the biocultural roots of cacao, gives a voice to its stewards, and make us question our beliefs and decolonize our practices. It's not about gatekeeping, its about relationship, service to life, and greater responsibility as facilitators, medicine carriers, and stewards.

I’m curious…

When you hear the word kinship, what does it mean to you? How can we embody it more in our lives, beyond performative ceremonies or conceptual thoughts?

COMMENT: KINSHIP if you are ready to step into this journey of remembrance with us 🤎🧚
