I’ve never really been a flowers kind of girl.

If you wanted to buy me something, a good book would have made me much happier than a bouquet!

But the older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve come to appreciate having fresh flowers in our home. I picked up these roses 🌹 while grocery shopping, and they brought me so much joy.

It reminded me of the gorgeous arrangement I received from the attendees of my very first Legacy Scaler Conference. They surprised me with flowers as a token of appreciation for hosting the event, and I’ll never forget that thoughtful gesture. The arrangement was created by @blourish in Atlanta, whose stunning work is now exclusively for corporate events.

It’s funny how our tastes change over time. I’m still a book girl, but there’s something about fresh flowers that makes me smile ❤️.

offered kindness that felt personal and unforgettable, reminding me that leadership is measured in how deeply one makes others feel seen.

Sarah Redd shines with unmatched devotion. Her love of tennis mirrors the discipline and joy she brings to Atlanta’s cultural heartbeat.

Billie Jean King once said: “Champions keep playing until they get it right.” Sarah lives that truth on the court and in her leadership for the city.

Felicia Pride, writer and creative architect of the evening, gave the celebration its heartbeat, turning a watch party into a living classroom for Atlanta’s youth and creatives.

Mayor Andre Dickens carries Atlanta’s civil rights legacy forward with conviction. His Year of the Youth initiative shows that politics can be purposeful, ensuring children grow strong and rooted.

Leadership, in his hands, is not about power alone but about presence, compassion, and the courage to make prosperity reach every porch and every neighborhood.

Atlanta is not only a city. It is a cultural engine, a family, and a classroom.

I went to Paris! What a blessing it was to see the vision I have for my life play out in real time. Yes I went to witness the goat @jayz perform his artistry— and it was indeed the main attraction! At the same time, this was much bigger than going to a concert in another country, this was about using the time and resources The Creator has blessed me with to create the most beautiful life that I can while I’m here. I’m deeply grateful for this experience and look forward to many more. Grand Opening, Grand Closing! Quite literally because I spent part of my last night praying at the Grand Mosque of Paris. 🤲🏾 I’ll never forget this. InshaAllah. ✨🫶🏽🌸

I pulled up to my girl @jasmyneflowers influencer event and found EVERYTHING…food, balloon designs, wedding décor, dresses, lounges, photo booths, a whole picture van AND a vendor who entertains the kids so the adults can enjoy themselves! 😂👏🏾

I didn’t realize how much I needed this…

Buying myself fresh flowers every week or every 10 days has become one of the softest, most intentional things I do for me.

Sitting down, taking my time, and creating my own bouquets… it brings me peace. It slows me down. It reminds me that I deserve beauty in my life, even in the middle of everything.

And shout out to my girl @daarina of @blourish 🌸
Her course really showed me a different way to build my bouquets, and now I enjoy the process even more.

This is your reminder to romanticize your life… even if it’s just a bouquet on your table.

I am so in love with this version of me….. I am letting him my 5th or 6th lifetime! Alhamdulillah

This was my second Ramadan and my second Eid, Alhamdulillah.

This Ramadan felt different for me.
I wasn’t as nervous. I wasn’t trying to figure everything out.
I felt more settled. More comfortable. More at home.

Ramadan is hard to explain to people who have never experienced it.
People think it’s just about not eating and not drinking.
But it’s so much more than that.

It’s discipline.
It’s patience.
It’s forgiveness.
It’s charity.
It’s community.
It’s praying late at night.
It’s waking up early in the morning.
It’s working on your heart.
It’s trying to become a better person for the sake of Allah.

And one of the most beautiful parts of this Ramadan for me was the community.

Praying side by side.
Breaking fast together.
Seeing the same faces every night.
Hugging.
Laughing.
Making du’a for each other.
Checking on each other.
Loving on each other.

There is something very special about my community, and I don’t take that for granted.
The love is real. The support is real. The sisterhood is real.

Eid was beautiful.
Beautiful clothes. Beautiful smiles. Beautiful families. Beautiful energy.
But the most beautiful part was the people.

I’m so grateful that Allah guided me to Islam and placed me in such a beautiful community.

It took me a minute to post this because the pollen had ya girl UNDER the weather 🤧 but my heart is full and I wanted to share this.

I pray I carry Ramadan with me for the rest of the year.

Eid Mubarak. May Allah accept your fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and fill your life with peace, barakah, and joy.
