Tonight on the @bbctheoneshow I combine two of my favourites, wildlife & climbing.

These clips were taken from behind the scenes on a shoot with the Gloucester raptor monitoring project who found these nesting peregrines next to a popular climbing route. Climbers are now working hand in hand with local conservation organisations to identify and monitor nesting Peregrines in the region.

Never have I been more drawn to tell wildlife stories from UK shores.

Our wildlife is changing in front of our very own eyes. Warming seas are rewriting the rules, from explosions of Bluefin tuna to Octopus boom’s. We often talk about this shifts being subtle but this summer has been anything but. It speaks volumes and it’s something I just can’t get out of my head.

Thank you to all of you who messaged about the octopus film on @bbctheoneshow this week. I hope you loved it as much as we loved filming it!

A summer dump.

The past few months have been quite special. Meeting new inspiring people, plenty of nature, charging forward with projects, getting on with my PhD and learning how to say no. In the chaos of life, I often find it a struggle to balance the every day. This summer has been a great reminder that the less distracted my attention, the more expansive my impact. When I can grab those moments, it’s a powerful thing.

It was great to shoot this short film about the Octopus bloom for Brian Leith Productions @blpdocs.

Presented by the awesome @lizziedalywild and featuring my good friend, Dive Instructor David Roberts. As well as an awesome crew behind the scenes.

We were really up against it for this shoot and had to overcome a lot of challenges but succeeded in the end due an awesome, dedicated team!

I hope everyone enjoys it!

Underwater shoots involve a large, experienced crew with specialised skill sets, so a big thanks to everyone involved. It was great to work with some awesome people whose work I’ve admired over the last few years and also meet and work with some great new people too.
