Basically planned a road trip to Ojai so I could try a matcha affogato. No regrets. It ended up being lovely, wholesome, and gave us Byron Bay/ Bowral/ Daylesford energy. Here’s what we got up to as a family of four.

Lunch: @rorys_place_ojai - The savoury toast was a highlight, and the matcha affogato was so good, worth the hype.
Play: Libbey’s Playground, just a 3 min walk from Rory’s. Perfect spot to let the kids burn some energy.
Shop: Popped into @blue_ojai for a look around, so many cute, curated finds.
Browse: Last stop before heading home: @bartsbooksojai - the world’s largest open air bookstore. Rem chose a unicorn book and one with bible stories.

Save this for your next trip to #ojai ✨

A few of my favorite spots in Ventura County, and where we’ve spent a lot of time this summer 🌞↓

→ Gorgeous drinks and perfect apps @carne.steakhouse

→ A local staple @softeeca (the SoCal dip is my go-to)

→ Girls night at @crawfordssocial for great drinks & shareables

→ Classic CA beach day at Silver Strand in Oxnard

→ Stroll downtown Ojai for boutique shopping — @cercanaojai and @blue_ojai are a few of my faves

→ A little weekend getaway at the award-winning Ojai Valley Inn & Spa (must try their lavender lemonade)

→ The most bomb tacos at @motherstacos , their lunch special is insane rn

→ Quick but delicious smash burger in Old Town Camarillo @shoobys_

→ The best happy hour in all of Ventura County (40% off the entire menu) @farfallatrattoriawestlake

Which one are you trying first? Or what did I miss!?

Summer days in Ojai 🌿☀️ A little roundup of what to eat, where to shop, where to stay + what I wore. ✨Comment SHOP for links (must be following for automation to work)🥰

Are you a “plan the whole weekend person” or “show up and see where the day takes you” person?

🫒 Ojai Olive Oil Company: one of my favorite Ojai experiences! Do the olive oil tasting in the orchards- they give you a baguette to taste all the different olive oils and vinegars. Make an afternoon of it and bring your own little picnic to enjoy under the olive trees (and find one of the swings!). It’s such a beautiful setting.

🍽️ Rory’s Place: we keep coming back here! The olives and oysters are delicious, and this time we tried the pesto pasta rags and local white sea bass… SO good. And don’t only go for dinner- their daytime soft serve with extra virgin olive oil + sea salt is an absolute MUST. 🍦🫒

🛍️ Shop: Kariella, Blue Ojai + Fig Boutique are two favorites for finding cute clothes, accessories and those special little Ojai finds.

🌿 Stay: We stayed at the Roblar Hotel and it is absolutely beautiful-the kind of place where you want to slow down and enjoy the property. If you’re coming with a bigger group, our villa @stellavistaranch is about 20 minutes from Ojai and sleeps up to 15. You can find the stay in my bio. 🤍

👗 What I wore: Lots of easy, elevated summer pieces-a white maxi skirt styled two ways, an off-the-shoulder bodysuit, raffia bags, a flowy pale pink maxi for dinner + one of my favorite flattering Amazon swimsuits.

Save this for a summer weekend in Ojai. 🌿 And tell me- what’s your favorite Ojai spot that I need to add to my list?
