Consider this your excuse to take the long way through town.

From 9 to 12 October, Cobblestones & Commerce turns a weekend of island shopping into a little Nantucket tradition. Pick up a Passport, collect stamps as you make your way through participating shops and perhaps discover a new favourite along the way.
We’ve shared a few stops worth making. The rest is best found while wandering.

Some Nantucket souvenirs are better when you can actually use them. Four Winds Gifts has been a family-run island favorite since 1970, with everything from cozy layers to gifts and pieces inspired by Nantucket. Find it on Straight Wharf.

A little piece of Nantucket to take home. From handwoven textiles to work by local makers, Nantucket Looms has been part of island life since 1968. Find it on Main Street.

For the kind of things that make Nantucket days a little easier. Haul Over has been outfitting the island since 1995, with layers, gear and everything in between. Stop by on Salem Street.

Cruised to Bartlett’s Farm and rode the free 🆓 shuttle to Sconset to admire the beach cottages with funny names (like this one 👆🏽) and a drink at Summer House
