There’s something so special about getting to play a small part in such a meaningful chapter of someone’s life. So much of my job happens behind the scenes, making sure every little detail is taken care of, but seeing everything come together and watching our couples soak it all in makes me realize this is right where I am supposed to be! 🫶🏼

Maura & David’s most memorable wedding day was captured by our Friends’ @blueberrycreative and @trinitytolbertphoto, on the beautiful Causeway at Wrightsville Beach!

Our Bride + Groom leaned on these words in their Ceremony, “Every single moment that you are alive and you are together is miraculous. We are beneficiaries of chance. Pure chance was so generous and kind for you to find one another. For you to be together. The way you treat one another, the way you take care of each other and your family. You saw each other. You found each other in the cosmos, and that was wonderful.”

Our Cove Banquettes stole the show at this beautiful wedding at Landfall Country Club 🤍

They created the perfect blend of style and comfort, giving guests an inviting place to gather while adding a custom, elevated feel to the reception. Paired with our elegant draping, the Zachary Bar, and a white pedestal table, every detail came together beautifully.

We can't get enough of a good banquette moment! ✨

13 years doing bridal makeup, here’s what I wish brides knew before booking:

1. Read the actual reviews. Not just the star rating. Are they recent or all from 2015? Look for specifics. How do they handle stress, timing, etc? Whatever is important to you, see what others are saying.

2. What most brides overlook? IG photos aren’t everything. Check for close ups, raw video, natural lighting. Don’t just focus on the polished portfolio shots. Yes, they are pretty, but can you see any texture? If not, reality is filters or studio lighting may be masking what the makeup will look like in real life.

3. Pay attention to energy and personality, not just the work. You’ll spend your wedding morning with this person and months planning with them. Trust is huge, not just talent. Do they make you feel comfortable? More like a friend and not just a vendor? Makeup artists are there during incredibly vulnerable moments. Are they someone you would want alongside you for that? Being kind, easy to work with and “your vibe” is just as important as skill!

Save this for when you start your search & send to a bride-to-be. ✨💍🤍

Can’t believe it’s been a couple weeks since this beautiful wedding! I’m still so full of joy from being part of their day. From the tiniest details to the big moments, it was pure magic. So grateful to have been part of it!

Same wedding. All the vibes.

These two frames are everything I love about documenting a wedding day. One side is flash, fun, movement, and beautifully chaotic party energy. The other is soft light, great taste, real emotion, and details that know they’re photogenic.

My job is to capture both—because the full story lives somewhere in the middle.

Are you drawn more to the party or the pretty?

…More reception moments on the way.
