Last weekend I went to Anime Detour and had SO MUCH fun!! This was one of the best Detours I’ve had. ~I always love detour but this year was an especially great time! Thursday we hung out, spent the night steaming and of course yapped about the Stellachu interview, oh lord. @woahits_nechi and I did some Cut Sew workshops. We did the beading workshop on Friday. That was so handy and I’m excited to now add beads to basically ✨everything✨Saturday we did an embossing workshop and wow that was so interesting!! Excited to keep attending @heycutsew workshops they’re too cool. I got to yap with so many friends and that was amazing!! It was such a great weekend overall just bopping around and talking with friends. Thank you so much to everyone who said hello and yapped about costumes with me. I love you all 💖✨ #animedetour #sailormooncosplay #cosplay #inuyashacosplay

Fun times at @animedetour! Huge shoutout to the photographers of the fourth floor studio and my friends who grabbed these pictures. Proud to finally have decent photos of Nico Robin! She deserves it 😍 🌸🌸🌸 #animedetour #animedetour2026 #onepiece #cosplay #nicorobincosplay

My personal favorite of this bunch! @bluebirdcreate as Umbreon. Super thankful to @animedetour for investing in the photography studio to allow us the tools to make these kind of fun practical effects! #animedetour #cosplay #umbreon

After four years of being in the ISU Cosplay Club @cosplay_isu it’s time to say goodbye! It’s been an honor being President this year and Vice President the two years prior. The Cosplay Club was the reason I became interested in cosplay. My freshman year of college I joined without knowing how to sew or anything. I sewed for the first time one month before my first con and just fell in love with cosplay and conventions. I then threw myself into the hobby and became obessed and The Cosplay Club was an awesome community to share my passion with. I’ve made so many memories and have met so many awesome cosplayers in this club and I am so grateful for that. While I won’t be there on Mondays every week anymore, I look forward to seeing how the club grows and evolves into the future. Thanks Cosplay Club for having me as your President. I’ve enjoyed going to conventions together, hosting parties, volunteering, giving panels, and most importantly getting to know all of the members! I’m excited to start my next chapter in this hobby and to continue sharing my passion with all of you! #cosplay #cosplaygirl #cosplayersofinstagram #cosplayers #cosplayclub #iowastate
