OK, I’m back! 😂 After being away for 3 days at the @wilmingtoncoffeefest it feels good to be home.

And apparently I came home with the color blue on my mind. 💙☕️🎶. I wanted to give a special shout-out this morning to our good friend Amy and everyone at Blue Cup Roastery. They did another fantastic job putting together and hosting the Wilmington Coffee Festival this year.

So this morning I’m drinking their Front Porch Blend (in a shiny new mug!) while listening to the iconic Midnight Blue by Kenny Burrell on Blue Note. It may not be midnight, but this music sounds pretty damn good any time of day… especially with a great cup of coffee. 😂☕️🎶

This is an original 1963 pressing of Midnight Blue, and I think it pairs pretty perfectly with the earthy and caramelly flavor of this great coffee.

If you’re ever in Wilmington, do yourself a favor and stop by @bluecuproastery and see Amy and the crew in the Cargo District. Great coffee, fun people, in a really unique setting.
