When you have a barn crew so good that even when you can’t ride because of post-surgery limitations, but you feel just as included on the ground,..you know you’ve found the right place ❤️ #teamzllc #aikensc #barnfamily #horsesofinstagram #lovemyhorse

Took Yankee to Stable View this weekend for a schooling event to get some more miles on him before our big event in September.

Safe to say it didn’t exactly go to plan. He was feeling a little grumpy all day. Maybe the 4:30 a.m. wake-up call had something to do with it, but he still tried his heart out and gave me what he had.

We’re also trying a new leather bit for dressage since he’s ridiculously sensitive to everything. I school him in a war bridle, and he absolutely loves it, but it’s not legal for eventing… yet. Fingers crossed that changes someday. 🤞

Huge thank you to Alicia for always being the best coach and friend, and to Reghan for coming along and taking the best pictures. Even on the not-so-perfect days, I’m thankful for the people (and horses) that make this sport so much fun.

2025, the year it all changed.
|
December 18th, 2024 I got a phone call from @jason_hale58 saying “Hey buddy, I have an idea”. January 1st, the @contractorkingdom LLC was filed. Every day since has been a push to better myself in all aspects of life. Manifestation isn’t what most people think it is. There’s a shit ton of work that comes with it. You have to step into a version of yourself that’s truly capable of handling and achieving what you want out of life. That goal for me has always been freedom. It’s not about the money. It never has been and it never will be. It’s about being able to spend my time how I choose, with the people I love, where ever we want to be. This freedom will give me the power to change the world. Foundations for kids that need guidance and direction. Fresh water and hospitals where they’re needed, everything. I plan to have a lasting impact on the world. I’m not there yet, but this year I became the person capable of doing it.
