Statewood Project - The Living Room We stepped back in time with this renovation. - thick drapery, yellowed walls, shag carpet and I can’t even begin to describe the basement! - more to come on that one! The living area was the simplest of all the rooms on the project. We added a large, some may say oversized mid century style light fixture in the center, offset with a more traditional ceiling medallion. It tells the story of the home while helping to bridge the gap from true mid century to a more timeless feeling. Watch us transform this untouched 1950s home to a beautiful Mid Century cottage home in Buckhead,Georgia. Follow for more room by room reveals!
