Blink, and it’s already been one month since @wgipercussion Finals Night began.

As winter season wraps and summer and fall come into view, we’re looking back with full hearts. This activity changes lives. We’re proud to help bring productions to life visually, but even more proud to celebrate the members who pour everything they have into every performance.

We wanted to spotlight one #TEAMDPG group from each class:

SA: @dyrhs_percussion
IA: @boisegems
SO: @westfield.band
IO: @utsa_marching_percussion
SW: @vmhspercussion
IW: @blueknightspercussionensemble

Thank you to these groups and the 50 plus @wgipercussion ensembles who trusted DPG this season.

And to @drumlineav and @jhoneymedia , thank you. Across Guard, Percussion, and Winds, more than 160 #teamdpg units performed at @wgisportofthearts World Championships, and your teams captured the heart of it all. The energy, the emotion, so much behind the scenes action we can’t wait to share, but most importantly the members in their element, doing what they love!

That work matters. We’re grateful for it, and we’re proud to call you friends! @jhoneymedia, @whatdevinsees, @ben_bouland, @carlee.m.photography, @drumlineav (tag any additional team members we may have missed!!)

no floor, no props, no electronics, no AI, just a ton of notes. how @blueknightspercussionensemble won the first @wgisportofthearts percussion independent world championships?!? 1994 was the first year independent groups competed, and BKPE took home first with a 93! loved this 3/2 ballad. the pacing of this show was great. kept me engaged the whole time! hope you enjoy!

Thirty one years of beats.
The WGI Percussion Hall of Champions tells the story of an art form built on rhythm and obsession. From Independent World legends to Scholastic World powerhouses, every program on this list rewrote what was possible inside the gym, on the lot, and on the floor in Dayton.
Every name here earned a moment that the floor will never forget.
Were you a part of any of these championship programs? Reshare to celebrate the season that made you a champion and tag @thescorelab_ to be reshared in the story.

Congratulations to all of the incredible ensembles who took the floor with Mapex Marching this WGI season — including several medal-winning performances at this year’s WGI Finals. Your dedication, artistry, and passion continue to raise the bar for the marching arts community.

Thank you for making Mapex part of your journey.

Some of our favorite wide angle shots from World Class prelims on the 10-20mm!

What set design was your favorite?

I can’t explain the feeling in words, but to have a world premiere of a percussion ensemble composition (It Is) this week, another (untitled) next week, and for the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble (The Weight of It All) to trust me with their music this season is nothing short of a dream come true. Thank you to each of the performers and staff that help make these things happen 💙

Mom, if you’re sending me blessings, I hear you.
