📍Blue Monkey Tavern / Merchantville, NJ

Must Haves:
-Bao Buns: If you have never had Bao Buns before, these are the ones to try! Choice of crispy chicken or pork belly (we chose the crispy chicken) in a Korean bbq sauce and Chipotle aioli (I love anything with chipotle) in a super unique soft bun
-Truffle Chicken Sandwich: I hesitate to put this on as it was a special, so I’m not sure how often they have it, but it was too good not to recommend. A grilled chicken sandwich with a truffle aioli, an awesome dinner option

Key Notes:
-Social: @bluemonkeytavern
-Nice size bar inside with a great happy hour as well, whether your looking for a full dinner or just drinks with friends

Tart cherry old fashioned. Delicious. Also kind of perfect for this day that was mourning and slightly picaresque, and affirming and sad, and beautiful in its tragedy. A lot for a drink to shoulder, but it managed.
