POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Each year @visitmagnolia’s Silobration feels like a full circle for me and Lori. From @joannagaines’s early kindness years ago…

To meeting some of the world’s most gracious people @tabithapaigekids and @korieherold, and later joining them at @bluestarpress.

To reconnecting with an old high school buddy, fellow Chickasaw County Mississippi native, and vendor neighbor @allysongregorybrennan of @emogeneco.

My road has never been a straight one, but it’s been full of adventure, grace, and good people. Wouldn’t trade this tiny journey for anything.

I found the cutest books to gift for the holidays! 🎄 @paigetateandco @bluestarpress has spoiled us over the years with these low stimulating, beautiful books. They’re relaxing for my kids and they especially love the tiny ones! My kids read at night and I’m constantly finding these in their beds. The little library is a great baby shower gift and the two sided puzzle is super well made and great for little hands.

The star of the show, however, is the water reveal book! The pen is high quality and I love the watercolor pictures inside. My 2 year old loves this book! 🎨

@tabithapaigekids recently came out with this Thanksgiving book and we read it last night. It’s a cute story about farm animals working together to make a pumpkin pie. There are even suggestions in the back on how to enhance your child’s learning with the book which as a teacher, I love! 🦃

I’ve linked all of these books in my storefront if you want to check them out! 🔗 in bio.

❔Have you started holiday shopping yet? These would be such sweet books for the kids in your life! 👶🏼 👧🏼 🧒🏻

Prueben sonidos divertidos, trabalenguas, canciones y muchas risas. ¡Sin presiones! Lo importante es aprender JUGANDO.

📚 ¡LIBRO RECOMENDADO! Nos encanta How Do You Roll Your R's? de @SiSaboKids. ¡Una forma súper divertida de practicar ese sonido tan complicado mientras leen juntos!

✨ Recuerda que cada peque aprende a su propio ritmo. ¡Una RRR a la vez! Guarda este video para su próxima hora de lectura bilingüe. 💛

**The Birth Hour is becoming a BOOK!** 📖❤️ And we’re celebrating with two book launch events in Texas!

After more than 10 years, 1,000+ podcast episodes, and 28 million downloads, I’m so excited to bring 41 of YOUR birth stories together in one book. These stories represent so many different experiences, but they all remind us why sharing our birth stories matters.

I’d love for you to join me in Austin or in the Houston area (Katy) to celebrate at two amazing local bookstores! I’ll be joined by Joni Edelman for a conversation about birth, storytelling, and the power of sharing our experiences. We’ll also hear a birth story firsthand, have time for questions, and of course, sign books!

📍 **AUSTIN — Wednesday, October 28 at 6 PM**
First Light Books
4300 Speedway, Unit 104
Austin, TX

📍 **HOUSTON AREA — Friday, October 30 at 6:30 PM**
Lost Story Bookshop
1001 Avenue B
Katy, TX

Whether you’ve been listening to The Birth Hour for years, shared your own story on the podcast, or are just discovering this community, I’d love to meet you in person!

It’s especially meaningful to be celebrating this book back in Texas, where The Birth Hour began. ❤️

**Tag a friend in Austin or Houston who should come with you!** And let me know if I’ll see you at either event!

Just received my copy of The Birth Hour’s book! Celebrating over 10 years of shared birth stories on the podcast. I have had the honor to share my daughter’s birth story inside.

Her birth was my second labor and birth experience and unexpectedly fast. It was empowering, well supported, and emotionally healing for me after my first birth.

I’m so eager to read all the other inspiring stories!
🙏🏼 Thank you, @brynhuntpalmer 💗

🪄 You can pre-order your copy too! (See link in my bio.)

She won GOLD 🌟🧚

“Flower Fairies,” my watercolor reveal activity book for little ones, has just been awarded the Gold Medal in the Activity Book category of the 2026 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards! WHAT!? OVER THE MOON HONORED🌖🎉

The Moonbeam Awards have been celebrating the very best in children’s publishing since 2006, with entries from thousands of books across more than 20 countries, judged by librarians, educators, and book reviewers who truly love children’s literature. Winning Gold means Flower Fairies was recognized as the best in her category — and I could not be more grateful or more proud!

This sweet book, with the water-reveal fairy magic and an innate invitation to slow down and create — is now officially award-winning. I am so grateful.

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed this book, gifted it, painted it with their little ones, and believed in the magic of creating something beautiful together.

Today is publication day for Hidden Wonders of the World, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the people who made this book a reality.
.
Huge thanks to the team at @bluestarpress for believing in this project and bringing it to life with such care. A special thanks to @tabithapaigeart whose kindness has so greatly blessed our family.
.
To my collectors and supporters, your enthusiasm has pushed this work forward from day one. I love to draw, but doing it for a living would never be possible without you.
.
And, last but not least, to my family. Your love, patience, and unwavering support is beyond belief. And, Lori, who this book is dedicated to, thank you for being everything I ever dreamed of.
