MAGICAL GIRL DEFENSE FORCE Volume 1 A graphic novel about a diverse cast of magical girls saving the world & trying to find fun in their military-like school lives. In a world plagued by numerous interdimensional threats, the only saviors of mankind are the brave & fashionably cute Mystic Guardians, or as they’re more popularly referred to: Magical Girls! Once solo unsung heroes fighting monsters in the shadows, the magical girls of the world are now united & organized under the global peacekeeping organization W.A.N.D.! W.A.N.D. strives to protect their world from all evil, while giving the Magical Girls the support network many of them previously lacked. However, all of the benefits of such an organization comes with the same problems: public scrutiny, regulations, & mandates, which have left the Guardians severely understaffed for the ever-increasing number of attacks from dimensional baddies such as Darkness Maw. Enter the “Spooky Guardian” Janice Jones! A mysterious (if shy) Guardian with incredible combat skills who had until recently strangely avoided W.A.N.D.’s organization, despite always coming to the aid of it’s beleaguered Magical Girls. Though a welcome addition to the team, Janice has more than a few secrets of her own that leave many questions about her past ... & her intentions. MAGICAL GIRL DEFENSE FORCE Volume 1 is a full-length graphic novel by Sklyer Ammons & Alaïs Legrand for @blueturtlescomics. By backing the @kickstarter campaign, you can get your own copy & follow the adventures of Janice Jones as she makes friends & rivals at the esteemed Magical Girl school Usagi Academy! Follow the ComixBoost.Com URL in our profile for a clickable link to the campaign. Reward levels start at $8 USD with reward tiers including digital & physical editions, other comics from Blue Turtle Comics, art prints, coffee mugs, trading cards, stickers, & more! #magicalgirldefenseforce #magicalgirl #mysticguardians #wand #spooky #spookyguardian #blueturtle #blueturtlecomics #manga #shounen #shounenmanga #manicpixiedreamgirl #kickstarter #kickstartercomics #projectwelove #projectswelove #comic #comics #comix #comicbooks #graphicnovel #graphicnovels #comixboost
