🎯 Want faster hands and better volleys at the kitchen line? Try this pickleball drill!

@the_igor.silva and I are working on a drill that improves hand-eye coordination, fast hands, and attacking under pressure! 🏓🔥

Here’s how it works:
✅ Start with one player in the transition zone and one at the kitchen line.
✅ Feed the ball and volley it back and forth without letting it bounce.
✅ The player in the transition zone works on moving forward while maintaining control and keeping the rally alive.

This drill is a great way to improve your reaction time, sharpen your volleys, practice attacking balls out of the transition zone, and get more comfortable moving from the baseline to the kitchen line under pressure.

💡 The goal: Keep your hands quick, control your volleys, and move forward without giving your opponent an easy ball to attack!

Save this drill for your next pickleball practice and give it a try with your drilling partner! 👊

I needed something that could keep up with the way I play. 👟

If you’ve watched me compete, you know I’m going after every ball. That style of play has also come with its fair share of ankle injuries over the years, so I’m intentional about anything that helps me move with confidence.

Blumaka insoles have become part of my routine because they stay locked in, feel great through long days on the court, and let me focus on competing instead of what’s happening inside my shoes.

Everyone talks about paddles, but don’t overlook what’s under your feet. 👟

Built for the ones who love a good walk. Tee to green, 18 holes can be anywhere from 5-7 miles on our feet. Often golf courses have elevation changes and uneven surfaces, so having a supportive and fully functional golf shoe definitely helps. The MACAW is built for those long rounds and days on the feet. Tried and tested. If you dont believe us, try for yourself.

- insole in every pair, the same one running stores sell for $55
- Up to 85% recycled foam in the midsole, 92% in the insole
- Up to 14% higher energy return and 17% more cushioning than standard foam
- 99% less water and about 65% fewer carbon emissions than standard EVA
- Rated for up to 1,000 miles, no break in period

The numbers behind our foam components. Everything @blumaka foam does that standard EVA can’t, built into every pair. We provide a stock insole that will outlast 3 or 4 of our competitors stock insoles. Maybe not the smartest business decision if we are worried about CLV, but they are better for your feet and the planet which matters more to us.

Want to build more consistency at the kitchen line? 🎯

I worked through this drill with pro Etta Wright, and it’s a great way to build control, consistency, and confidence in your dinking game.

The challenge: Hit 100 dinks from each spot. See how many balls it takes you.

🏓 The 4 patterns:
1️⃣ Straight ahead — right side
2️⃣ Crosscourt — forehand side
3️⃣ Straight ahead — left side
4️⃣ Crosscourt — backhand side

Don’t rush through the reps. Focus on height, placement, and controlling your paddle face. The goal is to make the same quality shot over and over.

💾 Save this drill for your next practice.
📲 Send it to your dinking partner and see who can finish all four sets first!

Pro tip: Aim for a repeatable contact point and a relaxed grip. Consistency comes from controlling the ball, not forcing it.

🚨 STOP PANICKING IN THE TRANSITION ZONE! 🏓

Ever find yourself between the baseline and the kitchen line, panic, and either pop up your reset or dump it straight into the net? 😭 We’ve ALL been there!

@ursinopro breaks down one of the most important pickleball skills: staying calm in the transition zone! 🎯

✅ Breathe and relax instead of rushing
✅ Focus on hitting controlled resets
✅ Move forward inch by inch instead of forcing your way to the kitchen
✅ Be patient and wait for the right opportunity to attack!

Remember: You don’t have to get to the kitchen line in one shot. Sometimes, the best play is to slow things down, reset the ball, and earn your way forward! 💪

Huge thanks to Anthony and Igor for helping us improve our pickleball game! 🙌

Save this for your next open play session and send it to the friend who ALWAYS panics in no man’s land! 😂👇

Working on turning my backhand flick into a weapon.

The goal isn’t to flick every ball. It’s to recognize the right opportunity, stay controlled, and be confident enough to attack when the ball is there.

The more reps you get, the better your timing, contact, and decision-making become. You don’t build a reliable shot by only using it when the pressure is on!

💾 Save this as a reminder to work on your weapons during practice.
📲 Send this to your partner who needs to add a backhand flick to their game!

Pro tip: Look for a ball that sits up above the net and attack with control. The goal is to create pressure, not just swing harder.
