Moms, you don’t have to carry it all. Gently let go of what isn’t yours—and make space for peace, joy, and you. 🌷💫 #Motherhood #ReleaseAndRise #YouMatterToo #mompreneurlife

This week has been especially busy for me! To be fair, the last couple of months have been quite busy as I organize many things behind the scenes. Some of you may already know, but for the majority of others who do not, I will be leaving Ōtautahi (Christchurch) on the 10th of Poutūterangi (March) to move up to Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) to live with my partner!

I apologize if I haven't had the chance to catch up with many of you over the last couple of months. I've been doing my best to manage all the new challenges thrown my way while I navigate this huge shift in my life. With everything that comes along with the process of moving, I've recently been reminded by my body that one can always make time for rest, whether that rest is for the mind, the body, or the soul. We should always take time to rest during particularly stressful periods of our lives.

Life always has a way of getting quite hectic, and a lot of the time my default in the past was to make sure I was being productive enough because a part of me feels that if I'm not being productive, then I'm wasting my time. This could be due to the beliefs about the society we live in, which have shaped our views in a way that productivity equals success. However, what I've learned the hard way is that the feeling or need to get everything done on time will only continue to lead to burnout. Hence, I am finally listening to my body! I have also been breaking things down into much easier and more manageable tasks so that I'm still able to achieve my goals in time, as well as not overwhelm myself. It's all still a big learning process, but we're getting there! 😄

So,unfortunately, I won't be available over the next week or two as I continue to organize everything leading up to the move while taking care of my health as I prepare myself for my new surroundings. However, I'm always open to receiving any warm wishes during this time or any messages of love and encouragement! My inbox is always open 💖

With all that said, I'll leave you with one of my favorite sayings that my group of friends shares with one another: "You can take the girl outta the 8042, but you can never take the 8042 out of the girl!" 💁‍♀

Don't hesitate to start your first step today. Doubts will just block your way to go forward. You still have enough time to go far as long as you continue moving forward. One step at a time. Keep going!!! ❤️
