God chose you knowing EVERYTHING. 😭

Not the cleaned-up version.
Not the ministry version.
Not the version that finally got it together.

You.

Knowing the sin.
The patterns.
The pride.
The mess.

And the longer we walk with Jesus, the more careful we have to be that we don’t forget:

We are not people who graduated from grace.

We are people who are STILL standing because of it.

Because grace should never make us casual about sin.

It should make us HUMBLE about it.

Less:
“Look how bad they are.”

More:
“Jesus, thank You for rescuing me too.”

We don’t justify what Jesus died to free us from.

We surrender it.

Every. Single. Time.

If you never want to become so “mature” in your faith that you forget how much grace you need, comment GRACE. 🖤

And send this to the believer who needs the reminder:
we were chosen in spite of us.

This verse is about YOU! Before you took your first breath, God had a plan for YOU! He uniquely created you and entrusted you with specific gifts and talents. Our sovereign God, who knows the end from the beginning, is able to redeem any stumble or misstep. He loves you so much that He prepared a way for you to know Him and have a relationship with Him!

When we understand how God sees us, our perspective shifts! We can stop striving! In Him, we do not get stuck in fear and worry. Instead, we move forward in rest and supernatural peace. There is nothing you can do to earn God’s love, so there is no mistake that will cause Him to stop loving you. Our identity is secure, and we can live confidently in our God-given purpose!

Second half already? 🫶🏾 Let’s make it count! This year I told The Lord I wanted to prioritize more fruitful experiences and He planted opportunities and people in my path I never could’ve on my own.

Every month I’ve experienced something new that’s allowed me to grow and stretch beyond my comfort zone.

From leading small group, meeting some of my favorite spiritual leaders and being apart of the first live @bettertogethertv broadcast, God met me in every room in such an intimate way.

Even in the testing times, because those times will come, God continued to show His sovereignty, faithfulness and kindness towards me.

I’ve asked Him hard questions. He’s answered. I’ve asked for deeper revelation and discernment. He’s provided. I asked to grow. He planted opportunities.

So I encourage you, no matter where you find yourself to reflect on these last 6 months and how God has walked with you and covered you. And to keep pushing forward because He still has so much more in store 🫶🏾

Had an amazing time on the set at @lifetodaytv today! We LOVE these saints SO much! Got to meet a dear brother @bayturnermusic and he is the real deal. Can’t wait to have him on my show. Was such a joy to serve with @jamesrrobison and @blyndalane (what a joy to meet her!). We talked about my new book, “More Than You Can Imagine” and about building a life of resilient trust in God. Will let you know when the episode airs. The family of God is such a gift and we’re all built up when we remember God’s faithfulness together. And PS: I love you, @kevinlarsonbuildstrong

The Blessing was nothing short of powerful. 🩷

There are moments in life where praise becomes a sacrifice. Not because God stopped being good, but because the weight of what you’re carrying tries to convince you otherwise. Yet even there… we choose worship. We choose surrender. We choose to pour out everything at His feet because He is still worthy.

A sacrifice of praise will always cost you something, but it has a way of reminding you exactly who God is. Faithful. Present. Near. Good.🙌🙌🙌
