P/2 Process from our @springbarcanvas collaboration. It was special to bring in @torricesnolan for this project. We set up shop in the old “Tumble and Polish” area at the BD HQ- a space that allowed us to work on a large scale. Each canvas panel was patterned and dyed using different methods and tools. After curing, the panels were washed and air-dried, then the process was repeated to remove any excess ink.

A collaborative project from BD HEX & Springbar® For us, the best collaborative projects are the ones that don’t make a lot of sense on the surface. The ones that are a bit unexpected and strange, where finding the connective tissue requires peeling back a few layers. This project with BD Hex was exactly that—a strange brew steeped from modern rock-climbing culture, alpine climbing heritage, and an old school canvas tent brand. Bobby Vannoy, the creative force behind BD HEX and SOHI Studios, approached us with an idea for a limited-edition duffle bag made from Springbar tent canvas. He was dreaming of something that would be functional for stowing climbing gear, but where each bag would be hand painted and truly one-of-a-kind. It was a wild idea, but we’re glad we heard him out. Bobby splattered, sprayed, stenciled, and double washed every individual piece of canvas. Then we went to work cutting and sewing, using a modified version of our weekender duffle bag pattern. We think the result speaks for itself, and it was a ton of fun along the way. A limited number of bags will be available in the BD HEX web store tomorrow, 09/09/2026 at 1:00PM (MDT). Made in USA.

S26 - “Resupply” collection. LIVE tomorrow at 10am made in collaboration with @springbarcanvas in salt lake city, utah. Each duffle is constructed from reclaimed tent canvas and hand-dyed, making every bag completely one of one. The dye patterns are inspired by the rock, earth, and landscapes that we are often surrounded by. Thank you Nolan, Pace and Jordan. Video: @banana.wat3r @bm_v1000
