I am a BLACK MAN!..... I build .... I don't tear down other BLACK MEN! ....I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others! If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!🌟 Upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. (FB only allows 50). Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down.
Challenge accepted 🖤🖤COPY AND PASTE🖤🖤

THESE GUYS.
My kids.
Over the last four years, we’ve laughed, cried, created, struggled and celebrated together. You’ve seen me at my absolute, rock-bottom worst, and loved me anyway. I have watched you grow and mature and transform into rock-solid creative professionals. *tear*
YOU. ARE. MY. FAMILY.
I love every one of you with every last fiber of my being. I can scarcely imagine doing life without you. It’s hard to turn loose your babies, but you guys have shown that you are more than ready to spread your wings and fly. So do it. Go forward. Do big things. SLAY. Momma will always be here, right behind you… 💖💖💖💖💖

America 1

Great seeing this character get some shine. Really hard to formulate an opinion from just a single issue, but it seems this run is headed in a positive direction. Definitely some room for improvement, but much, much to early to say anything.

Blue Beetle: Rebirth - 1
.
This has been a comic I've been looking forward to for a while. Blue Beetle in the past decade has gained increased popularity, due in large part to his partnership with Booster Gold. An aspect of the character we haven't gotten in a long time. Instead we get Ted Kord (jr?) and Jaime Reyes the new host of the Blue Beetle. Really the heart of this dynamic is the struggle of Jaime to control this Blue Beetle, which often times he does not want. I keep an extra watchful eye on this character due to the fact that he's Hispanic (much like me). So when certain aspects of the character are off, with respect to his ethnicity and background, it stands out a bit more. Representation is great and much needed, but I personally want it done well or not done at all. This comic didn't betray me with respect to Jaime's writing, but I'm still keeping an eye out for any nonsense/silliness. This was a decent start and we'll see how it all progresses.

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps: 3
.
Things are ramping up with the Green Lanterns as the remaining members of the corps are rebuilding their home planet, and the Yellow Lanterns are moving onto their next step towards galactic control. We're essentially waiting for the moment where Hal reunites with his brethren in order to mount some sort of an attack. Really it's been the most interesting aspect of this run, after the phenomenal Green Lantern stories of years past, to put the Lanterns on the brink of ruin opens up a ton of avenues for storytelling. The pieces in this puzzle are clear and this all amounts to some classic storytelling. I really do hope they juice the most they can out of this story and give all of the major characters involved their time to shine. This third issue mainly dealt with Hal fighting off a group of Yellow Lanterns. They're all apparently feeding off of the collective fear of the planets they police. A sort of Yellow Lantern performance enhancement. Before their power would increase depending on the fear of people in their immediate vicinity, now the reach of their fear extends much farther. Green Lantern is a DC mainstay who doesn't get enough love in my opinion, definitely check this out.
