Tough bite for me today but the @bmc.bait.co Jinxd Gill put a decent smallie in the boat - a proven waking gill bait over the years for me.

Got a few on the Wad 3 from @toxicbaitssuck as well

@nameless_custom_rods taking care of business !!!

No big ones today but had fun throwing my favorite Gill bait from @bmc.bait.co

The Jinxd Gill in the Jersey Jimmy color way has gotten me so many quality fish the past 2 summers and I know it’ll get it done again this summer - it’s just a matter of time.

As always @nameless_custom_rods handling business.

This is the first custom Wakebait that I’ve bought and it’s been a lot of fun to throw! I haven’t caught anything huge on it but that’s one of my goals for 2024. Do y’all like to throw Wakebaits?! 👀🔥

No Jersey giant, but I’ll take it.

Been working this small lake sporadically throughout the season, as I know it holds quality bass, due to the trout stockings it receives, and a healthy population of panfish forage.
This particular outing, I faced slick calm water with 1’ visibility. Most of the lake is topped out with hydrilla or millfoil.

I decided the @bmc.bait.co Jinxd Gill would get the call. Casting it out and working it through open lanes of vegetation, this beauty of a bass could not resist the subtle action and the allure of the Jinxd Gill, slurping it from the surface and trying to bury itself into the vegetation. It was a short battle, but one that would end with me being the victor.

While this is not my home water, I definitely will be back again in the near future to try and exploit its full potential of its bass population.

Thank you for your time, if you gotten this far. Much appreciated.

First time putting in work with the @bmc.bait.co Jinxd Gill.

Didn’t have much time this weekend to fish, but managed a 30min session this evening and landed two. First one went 2lb-8oz. The second one was this NJ, 5lb-7oz beauty of a bass.

Area I was fishing is easily accessible and highly pressured, especially on holiday weekends. Waking the Jinxed Gill slowly in open water, over where I knew there was a pocket of submerged vegetation was the key. The bait called this 5lb-7oz up, and she violently slammed the Jinxd Gill like she wanted to destroy it. The sticky sharp hooks and rotating hangers kept her locked onto the bait, as she pulled drag which was already locked down.

Definitely was a confidence booster for @bmc.bait.co Jinxd Gill.

What can I say, I’m a believer now.
