S08 E01 - Katie & Cormac - Wedding Couple

We had the best chat with Katie and Cormac, who got married in February 2024. Off Season in Ireland and in their own way. They had 40 or so guests at the Ceremony and Dining, with a more extensive guest list at night for the dancing and late night party.

Katie and Cormac tell us all:

How it was organising a wedding short term.

Spending time with family and those that travelled.

How it was taping up…ladies.
Wedding Dress shopping, Wedding Suit decisions.

Hair issues and knowing when to settle on a style/finish.

Openly and genuinely, Katie and Cormac let us in on the feelings they went through on the day. Including writing and saying their own vows.

Linda Foley preformed a magnificent Wedding Ceremony and all for the collaboration with Katie and Cormac, they give the inside track on the whole experience and brilliance of Linda.

Speeches were flipped on their head also, with the mothers stepping up. All speeches were great and we get talk back about them.

BMG Sound provided the tunes and Katie provided the dance moves, and Cormac was the perfect partner teeing her up.

Wedding Cake was a special one, themed and full a personality.

Cormac is a smooth operator, engagement story is told.

We want to thank Katie and Cormac for the great compliments. They appreciated all the random little things that Laura and Benny did. While we help the good times roll, Katie and Cormac let themselves have a great day.

Katie and Cormac had the most unique intimate wedding and dining, followed by a full on party evening. Watch out for the Podcast with Laura and Benny on Sunday, when they tell all.

Linda Foley is definitely a must have Celebrant and gave Katie and Cormac memories for a lifetime.

Radisson hosted an intimate dinner in the Manor House and a full extended party in the main banqueting room after dark.

Billy of BMG Sound did full evening and night music. Billy is with doubt a Proper DJ. He brings the shiny disco balls n all.

Katie and Cormac did it their way and we were delighted to capture.

Katie & Cormac 24.02.24 🫶

We are starting our new couples podcast series this Sunday with Katie & Cormac. When it comes to doing things your own way these two legends are a great example.

They had the whole day in @radissonblucorkweddings with an intimate ceremony and dinner with 40 guests followed by a larger number of guests joining them later that evening for a boogie.

Their ceremony was preformed by @lindafoleycelebrant We had featured Linda in a previous podcast if ye would like to get to know the wonderful Linda. Kate & Cormac added in a few elements to the ceremony including candle lighting, ring warming and hand fastening.

The theme to the day was The office. They brought this in with the theme song featuring in parts of the day, table plan and cake.

Another tradition was broken with the moms and Katie taking the mic for the speeches. More women for speeches 😉

After dinner they moved into the larger banqueting room the met the rest of their guests. The one and only Billy @bmg_sound had his impressive DJ set up and ready, providing his epic full night DJ package. We also chatted with Billy on a previous podcast if you want to know is more about everything wedding DJ.

Thanks for joining for choosing us to capture both photo and video on the day and for sharing so much on the podcast.
