💬 Favorite Quote: Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, you better fucking watch out.

🗯 Review: This one was so good! I'm all about revenge and giving bad people their just desserts. but also the power you could feel from her was fantastic. it was short and dark in all the right places. I absolutely recommend!

Loom was another great little addition to The Colony Carnivale, and I really enjoyed getting to know the Seamstress and the story behind how she ended up in this wonderfully twisted place. Despite being a shorter read, there was plenty packed into it, from a darker backstory to some deliciously disturbing revenge. Let's just say this woman has a very particular set of skills, and apparently her talents extend well beyond ordinary alterations.

I loved seeing more connections between the characters and attractions we've already encountered. Each installment continues to add another piece to the larger Carnivale puzzle, and I love discovering how these wonderfully deranged people fit together. Loom was dark, entertaining, and just the right amount of WTF. And honestly, if there's one lesson to take away from this particular stop, it's that you should probably think twice before threatening a woman who makes a living with sharp objects and a needle.

Horror novella
Dark & twisted

Xenia sews and repairs costumes and tents during the day. She loves the creativity. But at night, her creativity really comes alive.
She had a terrible childhood as her mother was a drunk. Xenia married Ron, who like her mother, controlled every aspect of her life.
She gets invited to the Colony Carnivale.
Someone spots Xenia when she does something wrong and decides to blackmail her.
She doesn’t want to be controlled again, so she exacts her revenge.

Fucking blondes...both a highlight and bane of Xenia's existance 🤣🤣. Xenia was dealt a shit hand in life until she learns to sew and finds a path for herself. Until Ron and his abusive ass show up and dim her light 🖕🏼. Xenia is a badass! Her work sounds incredible, actual sewn on patchwork..like a tatt! Xenia's revenge on Talat! 👏🏼👏🏼 She deserves better, and I hope she gets it! To the next attraction!Thank you @bmontoyaauthor for the privilage to be part of your ARC team!

🎟️ My Review 🎟️

I love a woman that takes her life back and into her own hands and well Xenia does just that. With each story the combination of gore and erotic elements pick up and I’m all for it. For being such a short story it packed a large punch and I wanted more.

(Warning: This is NOT a dark romance where everyone lives happily ever after. This is a splatterpunk erotic horror series with scenes that are very heavy. Your mental health matters so please make sure to read the trigger warnings carefully!)

Review: Xenia has a way with her magic red thread. In this story you understand how Xenia is how is she because of her backstory and everything she been through. Clearly , rude men are who she attracts without even trying to. But to see another character you just read and see what happens to them. Well deserved. This one's dark, gives witch vibes, and all over colony carnival all around.

Ahhh Xenia is a baddiieee! 🙌🏼🔥 She had had enough of her toxic relationship and chose freedom! I feel like there was SO much retribution in this book for multiple characters! I absolutely LOVED this book, the style of writing and Xenia! I cannot wait to read more from this author!
