it was six, sixteen and then twenty six, and it has gotten pretty close, but I’m still alive !! and if this life has taught me anything so far, it’s how to find the silver lining in every situation !! I’m so grateful I still get to add that word ‘almost’ !!

ten of my favourite quotes I collected from over a thousand stories on the milford track this summer !!

be brave be bb !!

if you think you can or if you think you can’t you are probably right.

if whales can go on land, grow legs, then decide it’s not for them and return to the sea - you can make mistakes and thrive.

life is a joke! don’t forget it!

decide what you want in life, don’t let it decide it for you!

what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. back yourself.

you will always find what is meant for you when you are your true authentic self. just be yourself, everybody else is already taken.

the goal is to die with great memories not great dreams!

people often don’t remember your words, but they always remember how you made them feel. if you can be anything in the world, be kind.

when in doubt, go to the mountains.

these six months of hiking gave me so much (including a very tired body, mind and soul lol) but I am so so grateful for everyone I met along the way, you are all simply the bestest around !!

I’m constantly reminded of how lucky I am to work with such thoughtful and inspiring clients — and this beautiful gesture was no exception.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful @kiwijac7 for the beautiful gift: a painting of a Redwood Forest, created by her incredibly talented daughter, Bethan. 🌲

The message that came with it — “Light will always reach the forest floor” — is one I’ll carry with me. And your note, “Thank you, Rebecca, for being fabulous you,” was just the kindest touch 🙏🏻

This piece is more than a gift — it’s a reminder of resilience, beauty, and the meaningful connections I’m so lucky to have through my work.

If you’d like to see (or purchase!) more of Bethan’s stunning prints, you can find her on Instagram at @b.m.slater or on Facebook at Bethan-May Slater. She’s truly a talented lady!

With so much gratitude to my amazing clients — thank you for your trust, your warmth, and your continued support in me here @and_so_beautiful .

Rebecca ❤️
