My mother and I talked often about her getting old, and when she would be “too old” to keep dancing (ballet folklorico was her passion)

She told me she wanted to keep moving until the day her body physically could not anymore. And that was what happened. I am honored to say my mom did what she loved up until the last moments of her life.

And I want that for me as well. I love my movement, and I will do it every day, good days and bad, until the day comes that I cannot. That is how I will love my mother.

WOW!! What a competition! The @wildsocietynutrition x @bangmuaythai challenge brought the heat, and the BMT students absolutely delivered! 👊

Huge congratulations to Matthew Nava for taking home Best Technique Breakdown and Xtreme Gracie for winning Top Performing Gym! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who participated and brought their energy, creativity, and passion to the competition. It was so much fun seeing the BMT community showcase their skills and break down these techniques.

Keep learning, keep improving, and keep pushing the standard! 💪🔥

Working the 3 Body with a defensive reaction. Don’t just memorize combos, apply them.

The life very few choose and much less can handle day after day. Give yourself some credit if you ever even step onto a trial mat of a combat sport because being hit in the face and hitting someone in the face are both feelings everyone should experience in their lifetime. #htm #fafo #combatsports #muaythai #bjj Special thank you to all my opponents over the years!
