UKGE 2026!! I was only up for the day this year and what a day it was!! Firstly I’m sorry there’s not many photos. I was living in the moment and meeting loads of wonderful people! But that was a highlight for me! The best highlight! So to those that said hello to me and to those I said hello to. Thank you, you made @ukgamesexpo the best! But besides all the games old & new it’s about the people! Meeting old and new. It was nice not being a solo gamer for a change. I’ll cherish those moments and they mean a lot to me more than you know. Being there for the one day I can tell you now I only saw what 20% of the halls. It was a mad dash to visit the stands I wanted to visit. This isn’t a one day event! I can guarantee I missed out on a lot of awesome things. But was and is expected and I’m okay with that. Instagram will show me what missed on. Trust me I’ll love to tag loads of people! @ukbg_review_circle to see the some of them was amazing. Having a game of moon colony blood bath with @board_game_steve was fantastic on Thursday night after the press event. After my manic morning it was nice to chill with @wifevswifeuk in the early afternoon followed by @boardgamemagpie @boardomcuredgames amazing people who all kept me company. Please follow them they are amazing! Enjoy the rest of the weekend to all those staying or coming! See you next year! #ukge2026 #ukgamesexpo

Koi by @dvgames_official Had the pleasure of playing with my good friend @boardgamemagpie copy recently. It didn't disappoint. Koi has the ability to swim upstream 🌊, and this game swims right up and captures you with its amazing beauty ✨, wonderful components ⚙️📦, and easy-to-play, relaxing vibe 😊. The games clock is perfectly timed with either the deck running out or koi no longer on supply making this a medium weight game. The ways to score and bonus score evoke the best parts of your puzzling nature with balancing gaining cards to allow more actions and gaining tiles to place but also then working to place your tiles and putting them in a way that will score you the most points. Overall - 8.5/10 👍 BOARDOM SCALE BUCK FOR BOARDOM- £30/£40 💰 a good price considering the amount of components in this game and the art and colouring alone only adds to that value REPLAY or GIVEAWAY 🎲- When not if we own our own copy then this is a game I would happily get to the table regularly . HOOKED or OVERLOOKED🪝 - It was an instant hook from the artwork, to the oriental feel, to the fun placing out your tiles.
