More photodumps for Essen ‘26! 🇩🇪 was one helluva an experience 😂 I’ll make my usual Aftermath post as soon as I get back, but there’s a ton of things to write about 😁

Really cool to finally see Mark! @ninjageekgames who helped me a ton leading up to Kad’s Kickstarter Campaign! 🔥🔥

Thanks to everyone who came by and support the game! (And book!)

Berlin BrettspielCon Event-Review in 🇩🇪🇬🇧

🇩🇪 BerlinCon 2026 – Was für ein Wochenende! 🎲❤️

🇬🇧 english in the first comment 👇

Chi? sarete voi a deciderlo!

Come abbiamo scelto i giochi?

🏆 UKGE JUDGES' CHOICE 🏆

*still pinching myself that this isn't a dream*

Incredibly honoured that Peranakan: Tiles and Tactics made the UK Games Expo Judges' Choice shortlist for Best Abstract Game - out of thousands of games submitted, Peranakan emerged as the TOP 3 🥳 (winner to be announced by @ukgamesexpo on 12 May)

To stand alongside giants like Vantage, Fliptoons, and Magical Athlete, feels so surreal (and magical, of course! 😝) At the same time, this also feels like a major milestone, a big first step onto the global stage of critical acclaim.

Thankful for everyone who has journeyed with us thus far: my family, friends, playtesters, reviewers, industry partners. This is as much your celebration as it is mine :)

celebratory Michael Jackson dance soon? 🕺

Thanks to @boardgamesbydesign for the prompt to take a trip down memory lane today. It is amazing to think of how my love of gaming has grown over the last 10 years. We played games as a family during holidays, Pictionary, Scrabble and Yahtzee were the go-to games. When I attended university I got introduced to a few more that I bought home to share with my family like #dutchblitz #pirateflux by @looneylabs and @riograndegames #bohnanza. When @roundtableyql opened in Lethbridge we because regulars and enjoyed the freedom of trying to many new to us games, we brought our friends and set up work Christmas parties through them. Recently we even attended a wedding there! When we moved to Edmonton, we were surprised to hear about #GOBFest just up the road from where we lived and we attended our first board game convention in 2019! We were introduced to so many new games and doubled our board game collection that weekend. The folks at GOBfest were so kind. This is also where I first learned about the @bgstatsapp and I have been using it ever since! I also accidentally joined a Dominion Tournament and everyone was very happy to teach me as we went. I would proudly say that @zmangamesofficial ‘s pandemic was our gateways game as co-op board games helped to recreate a love of board games that was different to anything we had experienced before. I meant my game group at GOBFest in 2021 that have become meaningful friendships in my life. Now I live rural and host a monthly board game night at our local library and have a regular crew that are great sports at trying new games even though they look overwhelming at first. I love this community and what we share and all the differences that we bring to the table. Again thanks to @boardgamesbydesign for the post, please go check out their post and give them a follow! #boardgames #boardgamer #tabletopgames #bgstats #loveofgaming #bgg
