Never, remember, never deny yourself positive emotions. If there is a chance, first and foremost, go after positive emotions. Just believe me, everything in your life will fall into place in the best possible way when you have this powerful energy of complete happiness, lightness, and belief in miracles inside you. This is how I can describe this journey.

One of the best things about Alchemist is having consultants based right across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, each with genuine, on-the-ground knowledge of the places they call home. So we’re kicking off a new series highlighting that local expertise, starting with Carly Kishnani, our Phuket-based consultant whose insider knowledge of the island runs far deeper than any guidebook. #phuketlocal #amazingthailand #luxurythailand #wearealchemisttravel #localknowledge

🇹🇭 IF PHUKET ISN’T ON YOUR FAMILY BUCKET LIST… ADD IT. 🌴 We’ve been lucky enough to travel to some incredible places, but Phuket genuinely stole our hearts. ❤️ It’s easily one of our favourite family destinations in the world. Beautiful beaches 🌊 Elephant experiences 🐘 Waterparks 💦 Island hopping 🏝️ Night markets 🌙 Amazing food 🍜 And SO much for the kids to do 🙌🏼 We were also lucky enough to visit during Songkran — Thai New Year 💦🇹🇭 and what an experience that was! The streets completely come alive with celebrations, music, laughter and the BIGGEST water fights you’ve ever seen. 😂💦 Our boys absolutely loved it and it made an already amazing holiday even more unforgettable. It’s one of those experiences you really have to see for yourself. ❤️ Phuket has that perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, culture and unforgettable family memories. Would we go back? Tomorrow. Without hesitation. 😂🇹🇭 And the best part? A family trip to Thailand might be more achievable than you think. 👀. Fancy Phuket with the family? 🌴 📩 Message Dreams Come McCue Travel and let us price it up for you. #Phuket #Thailand #Songkran #SongkranThailand #PhuketWithKids FamilyHoliday ThailandWithKids FamilyTravel DreamsComeMcCueTravel I have linked below the some of the places we visited @bluetreephuket , @greenelephantsanctuarypark , @andamandaphuket , @boatandbeyond ✨

Krabi has some of the most dramatic coastlines in all of Southeast Asia, but if you book the generic, overcrowded group tours, you will spend your day packed onto a speedboat with 40 strangers. I wasn’t prepared to run on anyone else’s schedule, so I opted for the alternate and booked private long tail boat tours. Check out my budget friendly vs luxury, private longtail boat recommendations @somewhereandelse 🚤 Route 1: The Classic 4-Islands (Best for Beginners) This is the most famous route, featuring iconic limestone pillars and unique natural sandbars. • The Highlights: Koh Poda (huge scenic rock island), Chicken Island (uniquely shaped cliff), and Tup Island (where a hidden sandbar appears at low tide so you can walk between islands) • The Secret: Do NOT book the standard 9:00 AM group tour. If you want to get to the sandbars before everyone else, book the private longtail from Ao Nang beach at 7:30am instead. 🏝️ Route 2: Hong Islands (Best for Nature & Lagoons) • The Highlights: Hong Island Lagoon (a breathtaking hidden emerald pool accessible only through a narrow cliff opening) and the Hong Island 360° Viewpoint (a vertical climb up a steel staircase to see panoramic views of the entire bay). •The Secret: Keep your eyes on the tide chart. If you visit the Hong Lagoon during an extreme low tide, the boat cannot enter the shallow water! 💡 3 Rules for Krabi Island Hopping 1. National Park Fees: Most islands require a mandatory National Park entry fee of 200–400 THB per person. This is rarely included in private boat rentals, so bring cash to pay the park rangers directly on the beach. 2. Base Yourself Safely: Stay in Ao Nang if you want easy access to the main boat piers, or stay in Railay Beach if you want a car-free island vibe tucked directly under the cliffs. 3. Protect Your Gear: You will have to wade through waist-deep water to get on and off longtail boats from the shore. Put your phone and dry clothes in a proper waterproof dry-bag before boarding. Which route are you choosing? Drop 🚤 for the 4-Islands sandbars or 🏝️ for the Hong Island lagoon in the comments! #krabi #islandhopping #islandvibes #krabi

See below for my budget friendly option, as well as my personal splurge! 🏝️ Choosing a Route My advice, don’t. Whether you’re looking for a budget friendly option or a “treat yourself” moment, both choices will cover off all of the main islands. My only suggestion would be to book each route on a separate day for valuable time on each stop. There’s no rushing on island time. The Classic 4-Islands * Highlights: Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Island Hong Islands * Highlights: Hong Island Lagoon, Hong Island Viewpoint 💰 Budget vs. Luxury Boat Costs (2026 Estimates) 🛶 Budget: A private longtail boat for half a day starts from roughly 2500-3500 TBH ($100-$150 AUD) Check out Railay Eco Tour or Longtail Boat Tours. • Alternatively, head down to the beach where you can hire a longtail directly on the water at Ao Nang or Railay which is generally cheaper again! Both include a local captain (of course) just without the bells and whistles! • I was lucky enough to meet a local who took me to some of the most beautiful little spots! Check out my “hidden gem” I had this little island all to myself! 💎 Luxury: I highly recommend @boatandbeyond if you’re looking to treat yourself! Prices start from 8500 TBH (roughly $350 AUD) for a half day, to 15000 TBH ($650 AUD) for a full day. But believe me when I say, the experience is well worth the cost! • Prices includes hotel transfer, personal guide, insane food and drink, on boat speakers and music, snorkel gear and toys for the kids! This was absolutely one of my favourite island days by far! What’s your island vibe? Drop a 🛶 for the low key experience, or 💎 if you’re looking to indulge! #islandhopping #krabi #krabithailand #islandvibes #travelplanning

And now, somehow, our biggest adventure yet is still to come 🥹🤍 It’s crazy to think how much can happen in seven years. We’ve moved across the world together, adopted puppies, gone on some pretty wild adventures, met the most amazing people, had a million different jobs, and started over and over again. And now we’re entering a completely new chapter, slowing down, putting down roots, and starting our little family 🤍 What’s been the biggest surprise of your 20s? 🥹
