Hey! #Mompurenuerupdate I officially have a 5 year old!

Every year I take time to capture Alia during her Birthday month. This year, instead of getting all dressed up because...well, she's 5 and has an opinion about everything and would honestly rather play with friends in a twirly dress than have her picture taken. So, I took my camera out for a spin on our first New Years Hike with some of our homies and their kids. I figured she wouldn't mind the camera if friends were around. Turns out I was right!

Looking back...2023 was a special year for so many reasons. For one, we've had a blast witnessing Alia build friendships at school, discovering her likes/dislikes, and navigating how to communicate with adults and her little peers! If you know Alia, you know she's pretty expressive with her face and hands. So, when she's serious about telling you a story or how she feels you can't help but want to listen!

Anywho, this was a really fun way for me to wrap up the end of 2023 and ramp up for an exciting 2024!

Cheers ya'll…here is to more laughter, making more connections, getting creative, and capturing all aspects of life so we can remember just how sweet it can be!

p.s. I really like how the Tucson weather evolves during this hike. We start out all bundled up and end up shedding the layers by the last frame! Ohhh Tucson we love that about you!
