Day 3 in Michigan didn’t disappoint!! Lions game came down to the last minute. What a great weekend with the kids. Feel very fortunate to be able to do these trips with them. Thankful for my wonderful wife who had this original idea 12 years ago to start this while also holding down the fort back home😘.

Fun weekend!! Got back to Iowa to see B. Bittersweet trip. Was his first game sophomore year but he had tore his planter fascia a few weeks back. Had follow up with doc Friday am and B is recovering as good as anyone 💪 so he got cleared back for practice. Had to miss game but we took the opportunity and went saw a former teammate in his first game at Iowa State. Ate well - college fball game - soccer game for another friend - even found time to “wet a line”😎🎣 before the storm got us. Carrie flys out this week for game #2 🤞. Always enjoy our time in Pella!!

Our kids have been coming to Wisconsin every summer since birth. Aren’t kids anymore but you do “kid” things when you come here. Unfortunately they are only here together for 4 days so they wanted to tube/ski for one of the days together. Glad we are getting a few days together as a family!

At Campo, we spend a lot of time teaching/reviewing techniques for our 3 Olympic lifts - squat, hang clean and bench press. Here is a video reviewing some of the main teaching points we focus on with our student athletes in regard to hang clean💪. Hope this video is helpful for any athletes working on their technique or any coaches who work in the weight room.

Disclaimer: We do not claim to be experts by any means. We are high school strength coaches doing our best job for our students😎
