Hello, friends. My name is Ben (@benondatop). I wrote this caption and created the video you’re watching. 13 years ago, I met Firdose Khan at a gym in Houston… 5805 Star Ln. (The 1:54 mark of the video is from that very day.) Back then, it was called Athletic Gaines, later becoming 9 Innovations. Little did I know, showing up that day would change the trajectory of my life. I’m a thoroughbred Houstonian. I’ve loved Houston sports from jump. My late father bought us Texans season tickets in 2002, and I’ve been locked in for every snap since. That’s my team. For better or worse. FOR LIFE. So when @popeslim asked if I wanted to film his older brother’s workouts, I was ecstatic. His older brother just so happened to be my favorite athlete of all time. 80, bro. THE LEGEND. Andre Johnson. Full transparency, I was nervous as hell. I was trying to play it cool while holding a $500 Canon 60D I barely knew how to operate. 💀 But none of that mattered. I knew I’d been given a rare opportunity to surround myself with TRUE GREATNESS. I took it, and I never looked back. So when Dose asked me to put something together for the @HoustonTexans honoring OUR guys during their 25th-season celebration, it was a no-brainer. I’ve spent over a decade telling their stories through my lens. Now, I get to tell the stories of the next generation, too. It feels like my calling. And it ALL started HERE. At Khango. To me, Khango isn’t just a brand or a gym. It’s a feeling. An experience. It’s the people around you encouraging you to push through and elevate. It’s knowing we genuinely want to see each other WIN. Those early days manifesting with Dose, Taj and Jeremy. That’s what this video is about. Paying homage to the guys who put in the work, and CONTINUE to put in the work, not just to chase greatness, but to ACHIEVE it. Nuk (@deandrehopkins) spoke about gratitude in his IG story yesterday. I understood it. Lately, I’ve been feeling that same thing. Quite frankly, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. It’s a beautiful feeling. Salute, gentlemen. Keep ACHIEVING greatness in whatever is calling you now. Talk soon. — @benondatop

Imagine spending your football Sundays in SAN DIEGO instead of driving to LA. 👀🏈 Our city has the fans. We have the passion. We have the loyalty. It’s time to bring professional football home — and give the community a stake in its team. San Diego, let’s build something of our own. #SD619 #Chargers #BoltGang #Daygo619 #SD619CA

I’ve dreamed about an opportunity like this for a long time. A full-circle moment. 🤘🏻 Twelve 1 of 1 helmets, created by hand for the @houstontexans LEGENDS I’ve watched for 25 as a die-hard fan. Houston made me. This one’s for H-Town. #LukeTheCardist #HoustonTexans #HTown #OneOfOne
