I have been beyond blessed to have played baseball for as long as I have. I’ve been blessed with a family who always supported me no matter how far away I was, a mother who made more sacrifices than I can count to allow me to chase my dreams, a brother who always competed with me, a wife who never stopped being my rock, and a God who always kept me grounded.

No other words can describe the way I feel about this game and the people that it has brought into my life other than: Thank you.

I am beyond thankful to have been given the opportunity to play a game for a career in college and professionally.

Thank you Auburn for helping to make me into the man I am today and thank you for giving me life long friends and family. Theres a lot of places out there that aren’t for everyone, but Auburn is for everybody.

Thank you to the Blue Jays Organization for allowing me to live out something that almost every kid dreams about- being a professional athlete. It has been one of the proudest titles of my life and one of the hardest to leave behind.

I am blessed to be able to “retire” from this game with so many fond memories and to have played it for as long as I wanted to.
