This hunt hit very hard and was an honor to do. Glenna who was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer has dreamed of an Axis hunt. About 2 weeks ago I received a call from a really good friend of mine and she asked if I could make this hunt happen for Glenna and her husband, Ray. I looked at my wife and we knew what we wanted to do. The first day, Glenna didn’t arrive and we were wondering if something happened. We are all sitting around the table wondering and we get a call. Unfortunately, Glenna had to get prepped to travel, against doctors orders, because she wasn’t going to miss this opportunity. The next day they arrive at camp down in Texas. She made it there but was very weak and couldn’t walk very far but nothing was going to keep her from hunting. Needless to say and long story short, she got her Axis down with a great shot. There is so much to say about Glenna and Ray. They are amazing people that got a bad hand in life. This is her 2nd cancer. The first cancer got its ass whipped!! 👏👏🙏 This one not so much. This cancer has taken over. The real reason of hunting came out on this hunt. We tend to forget what is the most important part of hunting, it’s not about how big the animal is, how many inches the rack is, who killed bigger and better, who had the best shot and so on. The real meaning of hunting is the happiness it brings you, you never know when it can be taken away from you, putting food on your family’s plate or donating the meat to a needy family. Glenna is a badass and was awesome to meet and hang out with you and Ray. Everyday prayers are said and sent your way. Just know that you are thought about, prayed for, and thought about every day by us, Bobby Walker, Mr. Troy and Mrs. Lori (Boulder T Ranch). Thank you Sam for choosing us to help with this. Sometimes it’s funny what comes your way. So if you ever think you have it so bad, sometimes there are people out there who have it a lot worse. Once again, congratulations on your number 1 bucket list animal Glenna, we are so proud of you!!👏🙌♥️🙏💥🦌

When you’re trying to do a special hunt in Texas for an Axis buck for a special person with stage 4 cancer, it seems like nothing wants to work out. Yesterday, she had to go to the ER, arrive at camp today and get them to the blind, and now it’s dumping rain. Just give us a couple hours to hunt! 🙏🙏

Big old boar and big boy behind him. Had to put a spot and stalk on this boar and it paid off! The fun part was over and then dragging him out of the woods, loading him up, and let the work begin. I think this guy is going on the wall!! 💥🔥🐗

A great hunt and an even greater reward!! 🔥🔥All this meat will go to feed so many families, villagers, dogs, and other necessities that the South African communities need. You gotta love being a true sportsman and understanding the true meaning of what you do. Some people understand and some don’t. When you see over 200 smiles and watching them pray over the harvest to show their respect for the animal, you know it’s not just about killing something and leaving it laying there.
