It's been over 2 years since I started organizing these monthly Video Pals lunches, and it continues to grow! So cool meeting and building relationships with other video pros. There is so much talent in @bakersfieldcity #videoproduction #videopals #bakersfieldvideographer

Memorial Day 2026 — a beautiful bike ride with my lovely wife Hilary, our four boys, Aunt Erin, Uncle Leon, and our dear friend Bob West. Bonus, bumped into our longtime friend Peter Wonderly!

Feeling especially thankful today for the brave men and women who served and sacrificed so that we could enjoy simple, priceless gifts like family, freedom, fresh air, and time together. 🇺🇸

This morning I got to film my incredibly talented sister delivering a presentation about proper seatbelt usage to a group of parents and adults at Olive Knolls Christian School.

So stoked to see her growing a business and impacting our community to improve outcomes for families in our area! Checkout Carseat Concierge to learn more about proper installation of your child’s carseat and booster seat as your children grow.

Thank you Bob West for assisting with the shoot and John Mark Datingaling for assisting with the edit! -AW

Meet my friend and colleague Mr. Bob West: I filmed my very first wedding event with Bob around 2007 and he’s taught me many lessons since that time. When counseling other video editors I will often quote Bob when saying, “We can only fight with the soldiers we have.” Here’s 2 images from a portrait session we shared last year. -AW
