✨ Hydra Art Walk 2026 – Opening Night ✨

On June 23rd, we officially kicked off the Hydra Art Walk 2026 with our Opening Gathering at the beautiful Hydra Icons Hotel.

A huge thank you to our amazing local sponsors who made this evening possible:
🍷 Laveīn Hydra generously sponsored a selection of wonderful white and rosé wines, and
🍕 Caprice Hydra treated everyone with delicious freshly made pizzas.

Throughout the evening, visitors explored a curated selection of the Hydra Art Walk posters currently installed around the island. Each poster comes to life through Augmented Reality, allowing visitors to discover the artwork in an entirely new way.

Guests also had the chance to experience our Metaverse Gallery in Virtual Reality.

For those unfamiliar with the term: The Metaverse is not “Meta” (the company). It describes the next evolution of the internet—a connected, three-dimensional digital space where people can explore, meet, create and experience art beyond physical limitations. Our VR gallery is one example of how art can seamlessly move between the physical and digital worlds.

Although Hydra was buzzing with several events taking place on the same evening, we were incredibly happy to see such a wonderful turnout. The atmosphere was warm, inspiring and full of great conversations, curiosity and genuine excitement. Seeing people discover AR for the first time, step into our virtual gallery and connect with artists made the evening truly special.

This is exactly what the Hydra Art Walk is about: bringing together art, technology and community in ways that invite people to experience creativity differently.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we’re just getting started. 💙 More pics will follow soon.

First Intuitive Painting Session at Agios Nikolaos 🎨✨

Today we gathered for our very first intuitive painting session at Agios Nikolaos. No rules, no expectations, no finished masterpiece in mind — just paint, creativity, conversation, and the freedom to experiment.

Designers, artists, creatives, and curious minds came together to create, play, and see what happens when you simply trust the process.

There is something special about making art without a plan. Sometimes the best ideas appear when you stop trying to control them.

And the best part? This is just the beginning.#
