POV: You’re asked if you’ve completed your rehab… 👀😂

The face says it all 🙈💀

Rehab is a team effort 🤝🏼 Your treatment is only one part of the process — consistency with your exercises matters too! 💪🏼

Be honest… are you actually doing your exercises, or just telling us you are? 👇🏼😂

💉 A closer look at electroacupuncture for shin pain 👀

Shin splints can be a frustrating setback for runners and active individuals 🏃🏼‍♀️

Electroacupuncture combines acupuncture needles with a gentle electrical current and may be used as part of a wider approach to pain management.

Every treatment plan is individual — with the focus on understanding the cause, managing symptoms and building back towards activity 💪🏼

🪡 LET’S TALK DRY NEEDLING!

One of the techniques I offer as part of my sports therapy treatments 🤍

Dry needling uses fine needles inserted into selected areas of soft tissue to help manage pain and muscle tension. It can be used alongside other treatments and rehab to support recovery and movement 💪🏼

This session focused on hip and glute pain 🎯

Want to know more about dry needling or whether it could be suitable for you? Drop me a message! 👇🏼

Recovery is part of the programme. 💪🏼

The work doesn’t stop when the training session ends. Supporting recovery, managing training loads and looking after your body all have a place in performance.

Whether you’re chasing a PB, preparing for competition or simply wanting to move and feel better, sports therapy can be part of your routine.

Sunday mornings, but make them feel good.

Join me every Sunday at 8am for Pilates. A class designed to help you connect with your body, understand your movement and start your Sunday feeling grounded.

Each week we’ll explore a different focus, with a mix of Pilates exercises, movement and breathwork woven throughout the session. Sometimes the class will feel more challenging, sometimes more restorative- but it’s never about forcing yourself into complicated positions just for the sake of it.

A big part of my classes is understanding your ‘core’- what it actually means to engage it, how it should feel, and how to use it properly as you move.

Breathwork is always part of the practice, whether it’s used to support your movement and core connection or given more space within the session to help you slow down, reset and reconnect.

Come move, breathe and leave feeling stronger, more connected and ready for your day. 🧘‍♀️

Another day in the life of an AuDHD mum on a mission… this time, to fix my chronic neck and back issues…

Years of long hours painting Warhammer miniatures, creative hobbies, streaming and too much time spent staring down at my editing app have left me f****d 😅

But luckily I was invited by @bodyresetnorwich to come and have a bit of treatment and a chat.

Thank you @ea.sports_therapy at @bodyresetsprowston for making me so comfortable, listening to my issues, an absolutely amazing massage and cup therapy (not gonna lie I am black and blue 🤣🤣) and for putting me on the path to (hopefully) recovery!!

If treatment begins to work I’m hoping to slowly get back to the hobbies I love and enjoy the day to day without pain 🤞🏽🤞🏽
