HELLO WORLD!!! This is the launch of ANDERS, a new itinerant art platform for curated art in Berlin 💫

Almost a year since the closure of Art Madness, we open a new chapter with the launch of this itinerant art platform in Berlin. A place for new formats and experimentation, keeping the same spirit of accessibility and affordability in our projects like @baam.berlin & @chileanconexion ⚖️💫

ANDERS is an itinerant curatorial project based in Berlin that aims to open new unconventional spaces for artists and give more access to art to people. Instead of a fixed space, it will present occasional exhibitions, curated projects and pop-up events in different locations across the city. The focus will be on local and emerging artists, experimental formats and unexpected ways of presenting art.

The name ANDERS means in german “different”, and that’s precisely the spirit of the project: creating situations where art can appear in alternative contexts, temporary spaces and unusual constellations.

Our first exhibition is currently in preparation and will take place in April. More information will be announced soon.

Thank you to everyone who supported Art Madness along the way and welcome to this new chapter.

BAAM updates its name to BAAM - Berlin Artists Art Market. A new name, reinforcing our passion for supporting local artists!

BAAM is now officially the Berlin Artists Art Market. The new name for Berlin’s most innovative art market sums up what the organizers are really all about: to shine a spotlight on Berlin based artists and their work, as BAAM has grown into the city’s leading and most popular platform, deeply rooted in the local art scene.

After 3 years of successfully supporting art sales of over 2000 local artists, BAAM has decided to put more emphasis on the main feature that makes it stand out among art fairs and art markets: being the largest and best-selling exhibition of emerging local artists in the city.

“We wanted an expressive name that truly highlights our ambitions,” the founders José Contreras Aguad and Sofia Nordmann, explain. “With BAAM, we have created a unique platform that not only makes contemporary art accessible to everyone through fair prices, but most importantly, focuses on supporting emerging local talents and promoting their economic independence.”

The next Berlin Artists Art Market - BAAM will take place from May 23-25, 2025 in a new amazing venue in Berlin. Visitors can look forward to an inspiring mix of sophisticated art at accessible prices, a creative atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for networking.
