Had the nerve to make a hype post about FireDrums (and show specific gratitude about not being injured like last year) only to badly injure my shoulder just a few days beforehand 🤡

Not really what I had in mind but okay! 🧿

I wanted to thank all the homies who rallied to support me, offer massages, or roll up to medical in such a profoundly silly way so I could tell med staff “yup, these are all my emotional support clowns”. Yall got me feeling super embraced by my community ❤️‍🩹 Shout out @bogl.flowarts for conveniently having a shoulder brace, it’s helping me so much!

While it was tough to be a slinged up megaphone wielder on the edge of the fire circle this year, I still had a lovely time seeing so many talented friends perform and teach and an extra special time with my squad of long time fire spinners but first time FireDrums attendees ❤️‍🔥 @christianalovesyou @bogl.flowarts #firedrumsfestival #itwasbetternextyear

Rising Tides.

For a few hours, nothing else mattered.

Just music, movement, and people fully in it.

Grateful for everyone who showed up, contributed, and made the night so special.

We are the tide🌎 ⛵️

I honestly couldn’t decide between a winter white out, ugly sweater, or pagan solstice vibe so the event at @sevenbarsb on Friday 12/19 is a mashup of all three!

Idk how it would be pulled off but if someone comes in all white with an ugly sweater and looks like they are about to initiate a dark pagan winter ritual I’ll buy your drinks for the evening 🍻
