A post I have been trying to put off this past week. For almost the entirety of my life I’ve been in some form of cheerleading. It almost feels like a fever dream that I’m finally done and retired. Through adversities, injuries, transfers, and victories, my time as a cheerleader has been nothing short of amazing. The days were long but the years were short. Never in my life, could I have dreamt of what I have been blessed with because of this sport.

Ole Miss program history was made by Team One… This team y’all, my family!!! The growth we made over our 2 a day season truly is remarkable and I could not be more proud! Nothing could prepare me for the empty feeling I get thinking about retiring, but this year, with this team makes it so much harder. I will always be proud of the script I wear, and now wore, across my chest and I’m thankful God allowed me to do the sport I love for this long. ❤️‍🩹🥹✌️

Officially time to hang up my cheer shoes. 🤍
For 16 years, cheerleading has been all I’ve ever known. From walking into the gym as a shy 7 year old to competing at the highest level at the best school in the country, this sport has watched me grow into the athlete and person I am today. It shaped me, challenged me, stood by me through the highs and the lows, and gave me some of the best friends I could ever ask for.

To every coach, teammate, and program I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of: thank you for taking a chance on me and accepting me fully. I am forever grateful.

To Team One — you will always hold a special place in my heart. We built something truly special for Ole Miss Coed, the beginning of a new culture and a standard that will live on for years to come. Family always, y’all ❤️

To everyone who’s been part of my journey, thank you. None of this would’ve been possible without you.
With that being said… Ash P is officially retired 🤟🏻❤️
