VCT '26 Masters London.
The only thing CURSED about it is summing it all up in a timely fashion and getting Instagram to save it properly. 😅

Picture this. Spring 2020, lockdown. My final year before heading off to University.
Earlier in the year, @ary_yakos had invited me to play CS:GO on the server that would later become @pseudodopamine. My first exposure into the tac-FPS genre.
Then Riot entered the fray with @valorant. Their hero-based take on the genre with wild abilities that encouraged creativity, yet rewarded tactical depth (Or so they said, take from it what you will 😂). I honestly don't know what about it captivated me, but since my first fumbles in closed beta, I've stuck with the game through thick and thin, followed the eSport since First Strike, and made life-long friends whom I'll never forget.

It's safe to say that @valorantesports helped shape the last 6 years of my life. And in all the years it did, I always asked "When will I get an event in London?" My hotel room in Paris was very loud when I finally got my answer. Fast-forward to now and I'm asking "When will I get a Champions in the O2?" I'm shooting my shot and calling it for 2028. Wishful thinking, sure, but I've waited 5 years for one event in my home; an event that did not disappoint. I can stand to wait more.

To me, #VCTMasters is more than a major. It's a feed into the unexpected; a celebration of the game and it's people; a networking opportunity for your next 5-stack and beyond; a chance to meet those whom you've built connections with, but never got a chance to shake their hand; a seat to watch some of the most heart-stopping VALORANT ever witnessed. London wasn't the pinnacle of the eSport, but having attended 4 #VCT events at different stages of competition, attending one in your home city, your own country no less, is in fact, MORE THAN A DREAM.

It's been a genuine privilege. Until the next match! 🫰🏿

What a weekend @valorantukie Masters London 💜

Being a small part of this event has been an honour and a privilege. I’m beyond grateful to have met so many fans at the event who have supported us on this journey.

Experiencing a global in my home country has only made me hungrier for the next one, now back to EMEA to close out the year 🙏
