An All Drag King show...

Ten Years of BOiBOX!

And an Apple! Of course! But not just any Drag King Show... Our ten year anniversary BOiBOX Show, our 117th dedicated Drag King Cabaret starring the legendary and lovely Landon Cider who I've known for years! Finally in a show together! For us, them making the effort to mark the moment was literally everything. And of course superstar comedian Kemah Bob, improv musical genius Brent Would, theatrical sensation Sigi Moonlight, the timeless classic Beau Jangles and new kid rocking the block and box Pre T Boy! This show was the business!

We started at Candy bar in Soho in 2013, we did it on a shoe string, people told us it was a fad. We persisted. Doors were slammed in our faces but on went the boots and down went the doors! Some 139 Drag Kings have been part of the show, a further 40 as part of Open Box, many making their debut. And that makes me very proud. Actually.

Just having a manly moment *sob*. By Zeus, we have worked so hard but you know what, I think it's been worth it!

And if we can sell out Drag King shows on the regs, you should probably BOOK DRAG KINGS! Coz, look at these legends. And guess what, we are all different coz Drag Kings do variety!

Ten of the Best LGBTQ+ Cabaret Events: February 2024

Our very own cabaret aficionado Jason Reid peruses the upcoming cabaret events every month so you don’t have to, and picks his cream of the crop for Gay London Life.

February can be a real drudge with its cold weather and nothingness, but fear not because there’s a wealth of cabaret events in the capital to look forward to.
