POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

WTF is back at @ivanspilsnerbar with another fresh collab and a night of jungle, drum&bass, future beats and hardcore breaks. For this edition we’ve invited our friends from Stockholm-based label @bukvasound to join us.

On Saturday the 7th of November Bukva Sound label-founder Boj Lucki and label-artist Coral are coming down to demonstrate their style for the junglists of Gothenburg. Expect a blend of fresh cuts, classics, dubplates and forthcoming releases delivered through a display of high level mixing.

Bukva Sound has quickly established itself as a central platform for the ever-evolving nature of Jungle & Breakbeat culture in Sweden. Since its foundation by Boj Lucki in 2021, Bukva has worked to bridge the Scandinavian jungle movement with the UK’s foundational sound and a wider global scene. The label has releases featuring artits such as Dj Sofa, Coral, Response & Pliskin, Theomega, Tim Reaper, Vilhelm Hasselgren, Coco Bryce, Thugwidow, Peeb and Arcane to name a few.

We’re excited to present a night where the sounds and visions of Sweden’s west and east coasts come together. On top of that Ivans have the food and drinks locked in with plenty of options available and an array of signature craft beers.

Date: 7/11
Time: 21.00-03.00
Place: Ivans Pilsnerbar
Entrance: 95kr (free entrance before 22.00)

Bukva Sound 2026

Esc is a jungle producer and DJ hailing from Tampere, Finland, driven by a deep-rooted passion for breakbeat science since the mid-90s. Inspired by the raw energy of that era, his sound stays true to classic jungle foundations while looking ahead, spanning atmospheric and modern jungle, hardcore, jungle techno, and the darker edges of techstep. Across his output, Esc explores different shades of jungle, guided by instinct and intuition, allowing tracks to unfold. Moving between classic jungle sounds and more experimental interpretations, his work has found its way onto labels such as @subb1996 , @dsci4, @western_lore with his latest release on Bukva Sound.

Artist highlight: Bukva Sound presents: Response, N.E. Girl, Vilhelm Hasselgren & Boj Lucki (DJ)

Bukva Sound has quickly established itself as a central platform for breakbeat culture in Sweden. Since its foundation by Boj Lucki in 2021, Bukva has worked to bridge the Scandinavian jungle movements with the UK’s foundational sound and wider global scene. We couldn’t be more excited to have Bukva present a showcase at the cutting-edge of jungle, hardcore and drum & bass, featuring Response, N.E. GIRL, and a b2b by Vilhelm Hasselgren and Boj Lucki.

Straight from Manchester, Response brings hypnotic emotional jungle and d&b shaped by deep atmospheres and hardcore pressure.

Nairobi-born, South London-raised N.E. GIRL channels sound system energy into fast, precise and momentum-driven club sets.

One of Sweden’s most exciting new talents, Vilhelm Hasselgren moves between jungle, ambient textures and dubstep, balancing immersion with rhythmic intensity. Standing alongside him is the veteran and architect Boj Lucki himself, whose presence in the scene stretches back two decades. Together, they capture the past, present and future of local scene-building.

Bukva Sound presents will expand the festival’s rhythmic spectrum with a focused breakbeat statement: physical, uncompromising and firmly rooted.
